Excellent Carrier
I originally purchased the Osprey Poco Plus but was just never quite happy with it - it never quite jived with my tall, rather skinny body (6'2", 170 lbs), nor the tall, slender body of my kid - so I returned it and got the Kid Comfort II instead. I could not be happier! The Deuter fits me MUCH better, especially around the lumbar and hips. Granted, there isn't as much air flow as there is with the Ospreys, but I'll take a comfortable, well-riding pack with a sweaty back over an awkward, uncomfortable ride and a dry back any day. As for my kid: it fits him much better too. He even falls and stays asleep in it - something that never happened in the Osprey. That right there is worth more than anything.

Necessary accessory!
Live this whole set up from the pack to the sunshade. Our little one is 10 months old and already loves going out for hikes and quick walks in it. The sunshade fits in so easily and provides much needed shade. Love it! We also added a mosquito net (when needed) that goes right over all.

Great product! Easy to use. Only problem, sadly it's more blue than grey so it doesn't really match the pack. It would get 5 stars if it were grey.
should be standard
This shade is great and works perfect. Very easy to put on and take off and lays flat. I even just let it hang if we don’t need it while walking through trees. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars was because it was a separate purchase. These things should be standard for baby carriers. They are holding babies after all.
Color "Granite" is blue not grey!
I bought this cover, which is great to use with the Deuter Kid Comfort II but was disappointed that although it looks grey in the photo it is actually a blue color and does not match my setup. Granite 4000 is listed on the REI tag.
Great accessory
I went on a trip without the sun cover and wished I had it the entire time. Bought it as soon as we got home and have used it a lot just around town. Our son loves it!

This cover is awesome! It is so easy to take on and off and clips right onto the carrier when in use so it doesn’t budge. Provides shade and cover just as you’d expect!
Properly adjusted, works great
With a steep price tag I expected a high performer, and they delivered. Great pack. Quite a few miles logged already and NO issues!
