Provides protection on my kid comfort air

The attached clips do not work, this sunroof was not meant to attach to the Kid comfort air but it was simple to make it work. You slide sunroof into the rear of the pack and then double twist the connected clips into the tiny loops which are attached to the pack on either side just below the chin pad.

Of course it's very well made, but our KC II apparently is a different year model or something ... it doesn't have the clips to make this sun roof work as intended. Usable but a hassle and definitely NOT worth the expense.

Does not fasten properly

Similar to other reviews, the clip on the Deuter Kid Comfort Sun Roof does not fasten into a corresponding buckle located on the . We have a Kid Comfort 1 manufactured in April 2019. We decided to thread the clip through one of the fabric loops near the chin pad, so it works, but I would expect better considering the cost of the product and the quality normally expected from Deuter.

Does not fit a 2019 KC model

Check if your KC carrier has small buckles near the chin pad. If it does not and has elastic loops instead, this roof won’t fit. Unfortunately there is no other version of a sun roof currently on sale anywhere. Also the item feels flimsy and should cost 5$ tops. Extremely disappointed.

Doesn’t properly fasten

The reviews are correct that say the kid comfort backpack lack the correct pieces to buckle it into. However the elastic bands seems to work okay. It’s just annoying to put a band around one half of a buckle.

Yeah does not fasten

$30 for a flimsy sunshade that does not fasten to the Deuter carrier currently sold by REI. Are you kidding me. NOT what I expect from REI. I am disappointed.

Buckle not Clip. Easy to loose.

It doesn't fit the older models that attach with a clip. This one has a buckle. I still prefer my deuter that has the sunshade included in it. We always use it, so being able to decouple and possibly loose it's not a plus.

This worked out terrific! Kids always pull their hats off. Or the weather can become windy and/or rainy or too sunny. This sun roof has ben a great help.

Doesn't fit kid comfort

Misleading - the KC sun roof does not fit the deuter kid comfort. There is no buckle to attach the sun roof.
