Size chart

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE I bought these, wore them around and decided they were a half size too small. Gave the 8s to my mom and ordered 8.5 for myself. I am a pretty standard 8, so size up a half size definitely. These shoes are AMAZING. They are versatile, cute (by mountain town standards at least). Extremely comfortable from the start. The sole has an incredible grip - while walking uphill on wet cobblestone, I was fine. I can think of a number of other shoes I have owned that would not have done the trick at all. I traveled across Asia with these and never felt the need to have anything else. They worked for casual wear as well as for minor trekking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful sturdy boots Traveling in SE Asia for several months and these (in brown) are my daily foot wear. They've really held up really well and I couldn't be happier with them. I haven't worn them out in much rain, but they're certainly waterproof enough to protect me from sludgy puddles on dirty streets. Also, they have super traction and don't slip on slick wet sidewalks They've saved my ankles a couple of times from twists on uneven paths. The zipper makes them really easy to slip on and off when entering Asian establishments--even with two backpacks on. One note, I would not recommend these for hiking. There's no lacing and I was worried they stretched out a bit after a rough, steep, root covered hike.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from teva de la vina low I was leary about asking for these for my birthday because of the price, but I tried them on in the store and was hooked. Long story, but I had to learn how to walk again and was afraid of what Winter might bring. These boots are the best! They are stable/secure on my ankles. I really need to be careful about not falling so I am extra careful, but I have not even slipped while wearing them. And growing up in Minnesota, I expect my feet to get cold. Even with my disability, my feet survived a long car ride at @-10 degrees better than I'd hoped. People: Buy these boots if you like your toes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall great boot These boots work great with skirts, jeans, or cords. They protect from hard rain without any leather conditioning on my part (will probably need this with age). I live in a very cold climate, so we'll see how warm they are in a month or so. I don't expect them to get me through the winter here, but that is not their purpose. My only complaint is that they begin to be uncomfortable towards the end of a day on my feet. I'm not sure, but I think this is due to poor arch support. However, they were the most comfortable pair of boots that I tried on in the store. I may just have high maintenance feet as I usually wear Chacos, Danskos and mountaineering boots with insoles.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome While shopping for new work boots, I decided to try these on "for fun" - I'm super glad I did! These are awesome boots - perfect combination of function and fashion, comfort, AND they are waterproof. Although I bought these for "real life", I can also wear these to work (on an active construction site) without issue. Bonus! Versatile enough to wear with everything, I have a feeling this will be my go-to boot for fall. This is my first Teva purchase and I will definitely consider other styles in the future. Highly recommend - thank you REI!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So comfy! I ordered these in brown and the boots look great right out the box but the leather scuffs very easily. I did end up using leather conditioner/protector which has stopped the scuffs but it did darken the leather a bit. I typically wear a 7.5 so I ordered a 7.5 and they fit perfectly. The boots were so comfortable - without breaking them in - that I lived in them the first weekend that I had them. The shaft of the boot is wide enough to tuck skinny jeans into but it is slim enough that I wore them with boot cut jeans and you couldn't see the outline of the shaft through the pants. They are very versatile! I haven't worn them in inclement weather yet so I can't speak to the waterproof nature at this time.

Do the boots run small?  Some reviews say to order a size up, while others say the boots fit true to size.  I plan to wear with "normal" socks.

Asked by: momofone
These boots do run true in both length and width.
