Exactly what is appears to be
This foam roller has been just what I needed to roll out sore leg muscles since beginning training for my first ultra. I chose this one after trying and returning a softer foam roller from a different vendor (it was dented after the first use). As a newbie, I like that this foam roller is sturdy and holds it shape, and that I can use it on both legs at once or one at a time to further target a muscle. It is straightforward, unassuming, and does what it's supposed to do.
Great roller for intermediate skill
Great roller for intermediate skill. If you've never used a foam roller before, this will HURT but if you've started out easier and are ready to step up, this is perfect. It maintains its structure and hurts so good. Its very easy to maneuver and I like the large size to be able to work any part of my body. It also comes with a small instruction manual if needed. Would recommend!
Solid and well made
This roller is good for rolling out the muscles, as advertised. However, it is pretty hard, so that it is a bit painful. I am not a young person, so have some difficulty in holding my body off the floor while rolling with my arms. I think it would be better for me to use a softer roller.
This GoFit foam roller is good and looks just like it does on the pictures. The advertised size is correct = 24 x 6 inches. Comes with a exercise booklet with good illustrations. The roller is quite firm though. For some it may be a plus, for others perhaps not. It's made out of a hard styrofoam which seems like it would hold up well and last. Other rollers on the market are made out of softer "pool noodle" like material and don't seem to keep their shape. If you want a light but hard quality roller, give this one a try.
Wonderful for pre and post running
It’s exactly what I needed as a runner. It’s just firm enough to not super hurt and long enough to do exercises for the back. Super worth the money!
Less expensive than buying massages every day
Finds all the knots and works them out. Much less post-workout and next-day soreness. Always do static stretching after use.
Traveling is easier
Great for traveling and recommended by Chiropractor must have
I have recently gotten into foam rolling s I am getting back to running. I wanted a smaller foam roller that was easier to manage but still large enough that I can use both legs on at one time. This fit the bill perfectly. It is very well made and I will have it for years to come!
It is a dense roller, just like the description says. My dad introduced me to these things after I complained of some back pain. Helps a lot, puts pressure right into those muscles and really any other muscle you can think of. I recommend this to all my friends.
This foam roll works great. Decided to get one after using one at the physical therapists. Decided to get the 24" wide one to insure that I wouldn't roll off of it. Works great - helps with those aching muscles. Recommended.
