Great foam roller, trusty and effective

I was in need of a roller to use after running, biking, and backpacking sessions to relax the muscles and to get a bit of a faster recovery. I have been using rollers for a couple of years and though most of them are pretty similar in their effectiveness, I would say not all are equal in terms of durability and build quality. In this case the roller is built for lasting; it is great and durable and offers enough resistance to decompress the most tight muscles. One of the greatest points in favor of this one is the lack of plastic odor, many of the foam rollers that you can get as cheaper options will have a stink of plastic, which does not impact their effectiveness but makes using them annoying.

Getting Good Results

More than a year ago, while skiing, a snowboarder ran into me at high speed. There was quite a bit of damage to my left leg. Using this roller, I'm making headway in releasing holding patterns from the injury. A few times, I've been able to feel a release during or after using the roller. I use it a few minutes per day. Among the variety of massage rollers on display at REI, this is the only one that was specific for myofascial release.
