Can be set up to work with two boats

I was worried when I opened the box, because the picture in the instructions featured a one-boat setup. Step 21 shows a 2-boat setup that didn’t look good to me. What worked well for me was putting one rail down the centerline of my 4-Runner’s roof, with the other one at the very end of my 58” crossbar (outboard of my vehicle’s roof rack; see the attached photo). I use wide foam blocks; this setup should work for any kind of cradle. Setup was slow; it took a lot of trial and error to get everything aligned properly. The red levers look fragile, put work fine as long as you take your time. I believe I'll be able to remove the whole setup as-is, i.e. with no disassembly: Just unhook my 58" rails and take everything off at once!

Nice product, but missing parts

I might have given this product 4 or 5 stars were it not for the fact that my shipment was missing two very important screws (the ones that hold the roller onto the sliding bars). Inexplicably, I received two extra plastic end caps that don't even fit anything. As consumers, we don't complain too much about the high cost of these rack parts (let's face it, they're all WAY overpriced for what you're actually getting), so at the very least it would be nice to get an accurate packing list with your order.

Paddle board accessory for short people

My wife has trouble taking her paddle board off the truck by herself and after I saw another boarder use this system on her SUV I decided to give it a try on my truck. It works great and is a huge help for loading a long board onto a higher vehicle. I think YK is missing a untapped use for this accessory!

Definitely worth it!

The Showboat 66 helps load the kayak and not damage the underside of the boat or the vehicle as you slide it up onto the saddles.

Throw away the Instructions!

This product was horrible to get to work on my 2009 Subaru Outback. All the clips had to be reversed to fit on the crossbars and to have the sliding bars line up. Once we figured it out, it works great.
