Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Lightweight and Warm This is the perfect jacket for our son. It is wearable in slightly cool to cold weather. This jacket so far has been durable and we look for him to enjoy it for some time to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from self-regulating warmth I have the adult version of this jacket. In the winter, I wear the jacket almost every day non stop. When I saw the kid version, I had to get it for my kids. I bought the teal colored one and my 8 yr old daughter who loves blue loves the color. When she's outgrown it, it will be handed down to her brother. I love this gender neutral color. Both kids are happy and I'm happy to get more bang for my buck. The quality of the jacket is fantastic and the Goose feathers regulate body temperature just right (not too hot- not too cold).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect winter jacket for the active child This little jacket is perfect for my son. He is able to stay warm, but still move around and be active. He refuses to wear a puffy coat outside, so this was a perfect find for him!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ripped after one wear I was very excited to get this jacket for my son as I thought it would hold up for spring and fall. After only one wear by my 5 year old, there was a tear, and REI would not repair or replace it. I would have expected more from a Patagonia jacket designed for children. Disappointing.

What is the lowest temperature that this item is rated for?

Asked by: Pepper
Patagonia unfortunately does not put a temperature rating on the Down Sweater. Most manufacturers do not put temperature ratings on jackets because they are too subjective. Not only is everybody different but conditions, nature of activity and the type and amount of layering underneath can affect how a certain temperature will feel.
