Great for tents!
I use the red ZipLits to illuminate the interior zippers on my tent, which makes it easy to find those tiny zippers in the middle of the night. The lights are not so bright as to interfere with sleeping.

Good for the kids, but that's about it.
Bought these for the kids so they'd have a back-up light always on them while hiking and camping. Great idea, but lacks the lumens! Good enough to see them walking through the woods, or for close-up reading. Can't see much beyond a foot or so. Will buy more of the Pulsar-type lights for them, instead. Disappointed.

Great for many applications

I keep one on my keychain and one on my zipper pull on my carryon bag that I stow under the seat. It came in handy on the plane when my son dropped a toy under his seat. It's intended for closeup use needed in a pinch, not to light up a room. Overall, a very smart investment for my purposes.

nurse uses zipled

I am a nure and I attatched a light to my stethoscope and aother to my ID badge and it helps avoid running into things when I go into patients rooms in the dark-not enough light to wake the patients but enough to see what i have to do.

Neighbors could see me walking the dogs

When I'm walking our dogs in the dark, we wear Nite Ize ZipLit LED and our dogs wear Nite Ize Clip on LEDs. Our neighbors when driving through the sub could see us at a safe distant and slowed down. They also have their own dogs and wanted to know where we purchased the Nite Ize Leds, REI was my response. Now most the the dog walking neighbor's in our area use Nite Ize Clip on Leds and wear Nite Ize ZipLit Led's.

Unexpectedly awesome

I bought these on impulse by the checkout counter. I use them on my dogs when they are running around at night. They work fantastically, weigh almost nothing, and are apparently pretty water-resistant. Love em and about 10 people have asked where they could buy them.

It comes on a lot by itself when in storage

This is a good light, fairly bright, compact and easy to carry. I like how the switch on the back allows you to grip it in your teeth - this is handy if you need to fix a flat on your bike at night and you need two hands. Unfortunately, it seems to switch on easily when you put it in your pocket or bag, draining the battery, and I can't find batteries for it.

Great as cord pulls

I attach these to the zippers on my every day bags. If I'm walking at night, I turn them on so that I am more visible to drivers. Great quality, and as cord pulls they make it easier to open and close the zippers. Would also be useful when traveling to make it easier to find my bag, when sleeping in a tent or in a hotel room during a power outage.

helps keep your stakes in the ground

I bought these with the intent of putting them on my backpack zippers. They never made it. I hung them on the guylines of my rainfly to keep me, and others, from tripping over them at a particularly dense site. Fellow campers asked me where I got my "line lights."

Handy!

I randomly picked a set of these up not really thinking on how I wanted to use them but I quickly found a use — I looped one through a tag on the inside of one of my packs so I could see into it much easier without having to hold my huge phone all of them time. It’s not the brightest light but it will help you in a pinch!
