Makes the Burley Traovy more functional
I've been using this with my Burley Travoy for close to 2 years now. I am a year round cyclist in the Chicago area. I do almost all of my grocery shopping for a family of five by bike (that includes two teenagers!). I use this weekly, oftentimes daily. The travoy has been *transformative* for us. This can be used with the basic Travoy "storage" bag, with the Travoy Lower Market bag, and with other items on the lower area of the trailer (like a dry bag, golf clubs, instrument case, 2 cases of beer, etc). It fits on the top section of the trailer where it attaches with the handy snap on attachments. It takes seconds to add or remove. Inside, there is an organizer on the back which includes a place for a cell phone, a zippered mesh pouch for keys or coupons, and a big flat pocket sealed with velcro that can hold objects even larger such as your wallet. I use it for holding maps, too. The whole thing can be closed off with the web straps (with quick release buckles), and there is even a handy grab strap if you want to carry it into the house after shopping. There is a drawstring at the top edge--presumable to hold things in--but due to the stiffeners in the bag, I find that it's not much use. The web straps and lid have worked fine for me for corralling items. I've never lost so much as a mushroom or cherry. It holds a decent amount of food considering its size. I use it mostly for fragile or soft items like cheese, leafy vegetables, berries, bread, etc. The Upper Market bag can be folded up and locked down flat so that it is out of the way, even while attached to the trailer. This is a nice feature as there are times when you want that geography for tall/big items. Visibility is excellent, with a significant quantity of reflective trim that shows up in headlights and streetlights. Durability is also first rate. I've been using this for close to two years with no problems other than a slight loosening of the fabric and stiffeners (negligible considering the use it's gotten!). I've spot washed it a couple of times; it cleans up almost like new. The only negative I can think of? It's not waterproof. For that, you're going to need to purchase the Travoy rain cover (well worth it for my use!).
excellent small item bag
nicely designed, I wish the lower market bag was a large version of this design .. this however is way overpriced
Brilliant
Purchased for Travoy at least 4 years ago. I use this bag along with the larger companion bag for market type errands to return home with purchases. It holds my personal items-wallet, keys n lock. Along with fragile or lighter items like fruits and bread. It looks almost new, little wear and cleans easily.
Sturdy and strong
This product is exactly as described. It is sturdy, strong, and works perfectly on the Travoy trailer. It is well made and I am pleased with its performance.
Market bag is great
This Travoy is the second Travoy we purchased. My wife wanted this Travoy for trips to the grocery. The market bags work great!
