Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keep Your Head Up This pillow is awesome. I've spent nearly an entire summer sleeping with this. It is small enough to fit into the hood of your sleeping bag so that it does not slip out from under you and the adjustability is as simple as either adding or releasing air. I have had no problem with it losing air though there could certainly be some issues if there were a leak. My only complaint is the material creates a seal when my ear is on it while sleeping on my side but that is easily fixed with a pillow case or, better yet, a t-shirt. This is tiny, easy to use, comfortable and helps to keep ya head up when it's the middle of the night and you're 110 miles away from whatever you're missing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from an overpriced inflatable pillow Don't let the gimmick of a supposed hybrid between a polyester fill pillow and an inflatable pillow fool you - the poly fill is scant, this is just an inflatable pillow as far as your head will be concerned at night. Your head will constantly be bobbing around and sliding off of it all night, no matter how you adjust the inflation. Maybe okay for a weekend trip, but not much more than that, and at the high price, its not worth it, you could get a traditional inflatable pillow and have the same comfort level. I returned this and instead use a Thermarest compressible pillow. A little more bulky, but feels like sleeping on my pillow at home.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great second pillow I use it in very squishy form as a knee pillow. I use a big agnes sleeping giant memory foam pillow for my head, and I more or less bought this one on accident, mostly meaning to ask the price, as it wasn't marked, but I'm glad I did. It's about $5-10 too expensive, but honestly, it feels well made and compresses down to about 1.5 inches round and 4 inches long, and is VERY big as far as camp pillows go, very easy to adjust. I am very picky about pillows, and this one is going to be a regular with my travel kit in addition to my mountaineering pack. But try to know ahead of time if you want inflatable or self-inflating foam, because that is really the dividing line. Self inflating foam pillows give me massive ache and air just works better for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable Now that I'm over 40, the days of sleeping well on a rolled up jacket stuffed in a sack seem to be slipping away. After testing a number of pillows in store, I settled on this one. I have used it on weekend backpacking trips, at Scout camps and on two week car camping trips. I love this little pillow. It so compact when deflated and folded. I like that the pressure and height can be adjusted. The size works well in a mummy bag. I usually sleep on my side or back, and it is comfortable either way. Originally I purchased it for backpacking with the attitude that something was better than nothing, but I liked it so much I took it on a two week car camping trip where I could have just brought my regular pillow from home. In fact I prefer it for camping since it fits snugly in my mummy bag. I also purchased one for my 13 year old son. He thoroughly enjoys his. On our last car camping trip, he took his regular pillow from home and several times he commented, "I wish I'd brought my inflatable pillow instead." This is a comfortable, compact camping pillow. If you camp, especially backpack, get one of these!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pure backpacking Luxury... Compiling my ultra-light backpacking wish list recently, when comparing pillow options while standing in the REI store - this pillow was like an insane dream come true. It is crazy light-weight, packs super small easily, and the comfort was as good as any home pillow since you could inflate it to the softness or firmness to your liking. Once bought, the key is to insert it right into the head section of your mummy sleeping bag, which holds it easily in place for an awesome night of sleeping comfort. Stuffing my down coat under it added a nice additional lift when I wanted it. Yes it is silky, so if you don't have it secured, you will likely lose it as you sleep just like any small pillow. But perfect - oh yes..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfy, but very slippery I bought this a month ago, and have used it on three camping trips. The pillow itself is comfortable. Pros- When fully inflated, it is big enough to support my head and neck when I sleep on my side. The outside cover is so soft it feels like kitten fur. So far I have not had a problem with the pillow losing air. It is not too noisy, considering it is an inflatable pillow. Cons- The cover is so slippery, the pillow never stays under my head. If it not fully inflated, it becomes very wobbly. I just purchased a sleeping bag with a pillow insert, so the slippery problem may nit be an issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from even 4 a minimalist-well worth bringing It is the perfect pillow for someone who thinks they don't need a camping pillow and/or can't afford the weight or space. I started out on my cross country motorcycle camping trip assuming I'd save space and use my stuffsack and a fleece or t-shirt for a pillow. After day 7 of a 2-month trip, I gave up & after lots of trying several pillows, ended up with this one. It was the right decision. It is quick to inflate (barely 2-3 puffs of air for the right inflation for me), doesn't feel like a piece of plastic stuck to my face after hours of sleeping and due to the 2-layer fabric design, isn't simply an oval plastic bag shape and cradles my head nicely. It does slip around a bit, so unless you have a mummy-style or sleeping bag hood you can't keep it in place with, put it inside a t-shirt. This would NOT keep me from recommending this pillow, but I did have a problem with the valve sticking. However, it was after my 2nd 2-month tour-so it lasted without fail for more than 100 nights of camping. I was able to fenagle the valve to open/close on. I haven't contacted Cocoon yet to see if they'll replace it, because it isn't a 'problem'.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great with a few modifications First off, this is definitely not the most comfortable pillow, and it is mostly inflatable so its easy to slide off if over-inflated. However, with a t-shirt on top and inside a mummy bag it works perfectly. You will not slide off and especially if you are trying to save weight this is excellent.
