Bought these for my BD viper tools. The fit great and are extremely durable. I use these for safety and also I put them on and train my grip on my hangboard with my tools. The tips are thick so there is no way that if they get hit the tip will penetrate the protector.
Fits my Petzl Evo nicely
For those who are interested, this axe protector fits a Petzl Evo. Plent of room for the adze and the pick fits as well. The cinch has a good amount of inherent friction to keep the protector in place.
Great Axe (and clothing) Protector
Great, durable product. The pick protector slides on snug, the adze protector is perfect for BD axes. I had one of the rubber protectors, but the rubber wore through and the connecting strand can break. More than protecting your axe, saves your clothing or other gear during travel.

For me, covering the sharp areas is the easiest way to prevent accidents and expensive damage. It fits perfectly over my Riven, Venom and Viper ice axes. But for my fuel ice tools I use the one without the adze protector, just the pick. But essentially, it is the same. It does not fit properly in other brands like C.A.M.P or Grivel. I mean it does work on some models but others don’t. Therefore, I won’t recommend buying this online for other ice axes brands unless you are certain that it fits.

Well build cover to keep your axe from poking holes in everything. Both the orange plastic portions and the shock cordage are robust and of the quality you would expect.

This cover works great on my BD Raven Pro and also my Black Prophet. Easy to put on and take off, stays on, secure, does the job.

Very well designed and constructed, universally fitting protection for Piolet or ice tool adz and pick. Adjustable / configurable to protect both adz and pick or just one, this ideal for either ice tools or Piolets. Handy when carrying such items either in hand or suspended from a back pack.

Works great on my two BD axes, haven't tried it on any other brands yet, but seems it will fit any normal ice axe. Great for travels and free riding when you tote an axe on your backpack for safety.
