Good Coverage
These wipes are fantastic. When using the wipe you'll get better coverage than a spray if you wipe the areas like you were cleaning with a washcloth. One wipe was enough to cover all the important exposed areas such as arms, legs, neck, and so forth. The best part about these wipes is that you don't fumigate your family or other people around you while applying. While I've used these wipes mianly for hiking I've been sticking them in all our packs for mountain biking and leaving a few in the car just in case. Top notch Ben's!
Really glad I had these!
Took these in a fanny pack to the Amazon River headwaters in Peru. Used them after washing my hands, sweating, etc. to supplement my full-coverage bug repellent that began each day. Tidy and easy to use. Also, by being careful, and not unfolding all of the wipe, it stayed moist to re-use the next day, when tucked back inside the package and the torn opening folded over. AND, my skin did not redden as it usually does from direct DEET application. These are definitely going to Africa with me next year.!
Zero bug bites
My husband and I purchased these for a trip to Peru. We specifically bought wipes in order to keep them in our carry-on luggage as large aerosol bottles are not permitted on the plane. We traveled throughout the Amazon rainforest and hiked Machu Picchu without getting ANY bug bites. We were extremely satisfied with this product and would recommend!
Convenient and effective
As much as I’m not fond of deet, it’s really the only thing I’ve found that works. (I had high hopes for Permethrin, but as someone who mosquitos love, it did not work.) I like these wipes because they are easy to carry, and they are good for Using on your face.
It Works!
Keeps the mosquitoes at bay. The wipes are full of repellant so you can share with others. Just get it off your hands before you touch plastic.
Effective!
So handy for sandflies in New Zealand and mosquitoes in Hawaii rain forests! While this is very strong, it certainly works and zero bites later, I am an advocate. Be sure to wash off with soap and warm water afterward and do not touch face or let children or pets too close. When traveling, we declared these but they did not have any issue letting this in to the country as a liquid wipe/ bug repellent in small quantity.
title let me know what i was getting
I bought these and used them in the high sierra in California. We camped in an alpine meadow for two nights. The mosquitos were pretty bad, but after applying a wipe to my skin they left me alone. may need to reapply after a few hours.
No more bug spray in your eyes.
Convenient while wonderfully effective. It may take two wipes if you’re covering arms, legs, and back of neck, etc. but if you’re wearing pants and only need your arms, it’ll take one wipe.
Wipes work well for outdoor kit without mess
These are great for to add into a backpacking first aid kit or a backup just in case you run into mosquito territory. However, I would not recommend wipes to use if you plan to be out around mosquitoes a lot. This box is good for an equivalent of 12 (mostly)full body sprays. They dry up fairly fast, so apply quickly and there's only 12 of them.
Africa Accessory
Before heading to S. Africa, we had been told to spray our clothes with a DEET product and bring along an insect repellant. They’ll tell you the mosquito is “the most dangerous animal in Africa.” This little individually wrapped wipe was perfect for daily use on safari. I’m not sure how close we came to the deadly mosquito, but I can’t say enough about the portability and effectiveness of this wipe.
