After 1 year, shoes are still great.
Have held together after a year of hard use on construction sites, hiking. Tread is still at 90% or better. Toe glue is 100%. Have been pleasantly suprised at the shoes durability.
Grippy but lacking comfort and durability
Grippy shoe that climbs well, but pretty narrow and not great for long approaches (at least for my feet). The 3F rubber moulding on the exterior also began to separate from the leather after less than 50 (admittedly rough) miles.

Wild fire indeed
These shoes rocked it. Easy to tighten and a fast lightweight shoe. The style is exactly its name. Wildfire and nice. I used them on a good week long trip in South Dakota. Wore in the badlands and a few other parks with some semi technical hikes. I felt very confident on the hikes and tackling small obstacles. The shoe is very durable.
Best shoe I’ve ever had
These are my absolute favorite shoes. I hope salewa never stops making them but know some day they will. This purchase was the fifth time I bought this shoe. They’re rugged, comfortable, with a few inches of waterproof material, but still breathable.
