Built to last
I’ve been running Salewa shoes for a while and have been waiting for the new iteration of the Wander GTX that I had purchased in 2018 that are pretty warn out now. The fit of these new waterproof shoes is a bit on the tight side but they should break in nice. I would definitely recommend for hiking, general walking and work around the house. The material is solid and the quality of the construction is very Salewa, doesn’t feel cheap at all. I have a flatter foot and a wide would have been nice but I would say true to size on the snug side pre-break in.

Wider and very comfortable shoes. Suitable to nature and also for everyday use. Waterproof and breathable. Not suitable for running, but ideal for walking. Very good sole. Not suitable to very warm weather. Ideal for spring and autumn. Also ideal for summer in the nature (low to medium altitudes).

Great shoe
Nice improvement to the prior Pedroc generation. Sole is sturdier, grippy and feels more stable. I wasn't sure I would like the wider last, however it has been great, even for my narrow feet.
