My feet are a size 12.5 and the XL sock fits almost perfectly. I have boughten probably 25+ pairs of Aspire socks over the past 6 years because they are just so darn comfortable for running and other high-stress activities. I don't like super low socks so I stay away from the Aspire 0. However, the Aspire 1 is high enough to protect against shoe rubbing but still low enough for my liking. It takes a lot of use to start to see decent wear, however, even then they remain comfortable enough to continue using for less-obtrusive tasks (light walking, yard work). I highly recommend the Aspire series as well as many other types of socks Swiftwick produces.
I have been wearing Swiftwick for about 10 years. A lot of products are introduced, gather a loyal following, and then reduce quality or size to increase their profit margins. It seems that Swiftwick may have started down that path. Your socks used to be so comfortable and so durable, but when I received my order before this most recent one I immediately noticed that the socks felt "different", not certain what it was, maybe thinner. Then a short time into their use, they began developing holes much sooner than normal, in fact, I still have older socks that have yet to develop holes and are still in service. This most recent order of socks has the same feel.
The Aspire Ankle socks in Hi-Viz Yellow are my go-to for both visibility and comfort on the run. The bright color is great for staying seen, which adds an extra layer of safety during those early morning or late evening runs. What really sets these socks apart is the snug, supportive fit and the just-right compression that keeps my feet feeling fresh, mile after mile. They're incredibly lightweight and breathable, perfect for any season, and they manage to keep blisters at bay, even on longer distances. A true runner's essential!
These are the only socks I will wear for running. I'm autistic - I have sensory issues with sock seams - and an ultrarunner so comfort is extremely important. These socks are the perfect thickness and texture and the seams are in the right place to not be annoying as long as I keep track of which is the right sock and which is the left sock. In combination with Trail Toes lube they keep my feet blister free for 100 miles. They do run big - I have to buy them in a size small even though I wear a women's 8.5 running shoe.
I ordered the Aspire ankle socks because they are listed as ultra-thin, but they are noticeably thicker than DeFeet and Pearl Izumi cycling socks. They also seem to run very small. I ordered Size-L because they are supposed to fit men's shoe size 10 - 11.5. I wear a men's shoe size 9.5, and these socks are very tight. They stretch out enough to wear, but they are beyond snug. They seem like they will be durable, but I would not order again. I would not recommend this sock as an ultra-thin option.
The Aspire Ankle socks in Cobalt Blue are the choice for runners who value both style and performance. The vibrant blue not only looks great but also adds a pop of color to my running gear. These socks offer excellent compression, which helps with circulation and reduces fatigue during long runs. They're incredibly lightweight and breathable, making them perfect for any weather, and their seamless toe design means no irritating chafing or blisters.
Great socks for running, cycling, hiking, walking "¦ anything, really. I've been using this sock for about 10 years. Never had a blister in dozens of marathons, triathlons (even with wet feet post-swim), and shorter runs. I think I still have my first pairs, because they're incredibly durable. I mostly use the Aspire model, but use the wool ones for hiking or cold weather, and the really thin ones for some road running when it's hot.
I am an old user, since I was living in Brazil. I have ones, twos and fours, size M and L with nicely compression feeling but the last 3 pair I bought - pack of 3 - I couldn't feel the compression, they are more easy to put on and last long run, 1h20min, I felt it rubbing my sole. Hope not to have blisters and will definitely only use these last pairs for training. Such strange feeling comparing how great was all the other pairs!
The Pursuit One sock is my favorite and goto for any training or race run. As a 12X IRONMAN, I can't wait to put these socks on in T2. They just feel great on my feet and they help wick away moisture and prevent blistering. I have experimented with the other styles but keep coming back the Pursuit models for running. For the bike, I'm enjoying the thinner Aspire models. I'm hooked!
Love these socks! My only complaint is there are no color options!! The no shows have so many color choices (which don't show!) and the 1" only have black, white, and gray. Please, please give us colors to match with the rest of our outfits! I promise females especially will love having more bright style!!
