Great socks (I have both the Flite XT Five and One), I've worn them for a couple of weeks and they feel just as solid as they did on day 1. I will say they feel more snug than "normal" socks; I'm guessing this is because the material is much higher quality, and won't get stretched out like other socks (which will have more give, since the materials are weaker). I still wear the same size in SwiftWick as other socks; but the feel is more snug. Also, I've stopped putting them in the dryer. I actually have a pair from years ago (used for cycling) that I would put in the dryer and they are still going strong, but I've heard dryers can weaken fabrics. I want these socks to last, so for me I'm taking that extra step. Comfortable, durable, checks all of the boxes for me.
I was getting terrible blisters on the arch of my foot and had bad ankle pain when I was running over 12 miles. I thought it was my shoes until I switched to Switchkick socks, and these socks undoubtedly relieved all of these issues. They are incredible socks and just what I have been looking for for a long time. I cannot recommend these socks enough for any long distance runner. They provide perfect support where most needed. These will forever be my go to socks moving forward!
Best socks I've ever owned. I use the mid-crew length for my work shoes. I was a regular Strideline customer, but I was wearing out their socks at a rate of a pair roughly every 6 weeks. I bought a three pack of the Swiftwick mid-crews and the initial pair lasted almost 4 months. At basically the same price as Strideline, I like the better life and they feel far more comfortable. Kudos to Swiftwick.
I ride the bike around 7500 miles a year. 105,000 the last 13 years. I have tried many different brands of socks but about 3 months ago discovered Swiftwicks. They are absolutely the most comfortable socks I have ever worn. Even 60-70 mile rides my feet still are comfortable. I wish I had discovered these when I first started riding. Best bike socks ever. Especially the Hi Viz yellow.
I absolutely love the quality and fit of the Flight XT Zero socks I bought in past years but I'm somewhat disappointed in these that have a snag or void in the material and are super tight to where they don't stay up. The socks bunch down and don't keep my ankles covered where I'd hoped they would while wearing ankle boots. I wear them but they're certainly not my "go-to" socks.
Since Swiftwick started up years ago I've been purchasing socks from them, probably have 30 pairs, the FliteXT mid-crew are probably the best socks so far. I'm 76 years old and walk 3 miles every day, I have a neuropathy so I try to buy the most comfortable shoes and socks with the most cushion. I will definitely be buying more of these socks.
Recently bought the FLITE XT Five in size Large (I'm an 11-1/2 shoe size) for workouts at the gym. Nice socks...comfortable and fit well, with one caveat. They are not overly generous size-wise (but they stretch well), so if you are at the top of the suggested size range, I'd suggest sizing up.
Best socks ever! And I have worn my fair share in marathons, half marathons and trail runs. Great balance of support and comfort. Very form fitting with no seams or bumps. You'll forget you're wearing them. Can't wait to try on the Pursuits in the colder weather.
Wore them hiking in Yosemite for 3 days straight w the same pair of socks and held up to the hype. Great support and comfort for 1000s of feet climbing and descending. I am 100 excited to take them on a 7 day backpacker adventure in a couple weeks.
I have been using the Persuit socks for years and like the comfort and wicking capabilities of the merino wool. I purchased these socks for summer rides in Texas and they fit and feel great. Looking forward to using them as it heats up.
