This base layer functions exactly as intended! It helps keep you warm all while dumping excess heat when the climbs get steep. It’s great as a standalone layer on the cooler days and does great with a solid mid layer when the temps drop. Obviously price point is a consideration but as someone who operates under the ethos of “buy once, cry once” this piece will certainly meet those expectations. Make sure to follow the care instructions to ensure it lives out its best life in your base layer quiver.
Comfortable and very warm, but not as durable as I would like for a higher priced item. Started to tear and fall apart during second season of use. I'll go with something cheaper next time, as it's not worth it to spend so much and have an item break down so quickly. Also, can be very itchy if you're sitting still a lot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these leggings under my ski outfit. The material stays dry even on days of high precipitation. It's warm but yet not hot enough to cause me to sweat in cooler conditions. The material is soft and looks good quality.
