Poor Seams and Mountain Hardware is much better.
I been buying a lot of north face products, but this shirt is disappointing. It is short on me even I am only 5'3" and short torso even when I size up the shirt raise up right below my breast with my arm elevated. the sleeves are extra large in a weird way. Cheap material, poorly made, the seam looks like it will fall apart after one wash. It is worst than Forever 21.
An odd product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1. The white dune is much more pink/nude colored than shown on the website. 2. It is a very thin material which is nice for warm weather but doesn't make sense if you would like to layer (the under layer will show through). 3. The material is billed as UPF 40+ but the label tells you that the sun protection is only good for 10 washes which is pretty appalling. This would be a good hoodie for someone who can put up with those flaws but I will be returning.
I like it
To be honest; yeah it can be a slightly see through if you stretch the fabric and wear black underneath or wet it. However, I didn’t care about that because it wasn’t bad. I’ve used it for multiple camping trips and multiple hikes. It is a very comfortable top. Not as soft as objects like Vuori, but it is still soft enough! It’s breathable and kept me shielding from hours of bare never ending sunlight with me overheating. Mine arrived without any stitching issues. And I would recommend it to a friend. I got a size x-large as a 5’5 200lb mid-sized person because I enjoy a baggy fit. It fits me great, but I could’ve easily sized down and still been perfectly fine! I prefer this top as my go-to over my Columbia sun shirts because this is more breathable. Columbia uses 100% polyester, but this one is mixed with elastane, so the weaving between the two garments is different. I’ve found that this one allows more breathability
Just what I wanted!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't been able to take it out in hot weather yet but so far so good! Great light layer that's made with a nice soft fabric. Easily layered with tank underneath and true to size. Good length too - not too long but also not cropped (top of pants).
See-through
It's ok - material is light and good for warm weather. However, it's really see-through, so it's not appropriate to wear other than working out with a sports bar underneath or at the beach over a swimsuit.
Love everything but the length
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the color and the material, very breathable and cool. Only thing I didn't like was the length, it ran a little short and I am only 5'2" with a short torso, so it may run even shorter on taller people.
Color Totally Wrong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the lime/lemon color. The lime is WAY more neon in real life, and there is NO yellow color on the side. It's all the same very bright neon green throughout. Completely false picture on the add.
Cropped hoodie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hoodie was more of a cropped hoodie. It sat at my belly button. The fit was described as regular but I thought it was more slim fitting. Lightweight and soft material.
Color
The color is way off in real person. I got this hoodie in "white dune" it's more pastel peachy. They should address that on the description.
Comfortable to wear
