The North Face  Adventure Sun Hoodie - Women's

The material is thicker than the Outdoor Research Echo, which could be a plus but it'd hard to tell how it feels under 90F+ heat. The shirt is isn't as long as the Echo, and it's boxy. I was mostly disappointed at the color -- the website photo makes it look like it's raspberry, but it's more like REI's Sahara Shade's Mauve Shadow.

Doesnt wick sweat away as nicely as more athletic sun shirts. It also shows a lot of moisutre if it gets wet. This is nice for easy hikes in the sun or a day in the park, but I don't reach for it on hard adventure days. I will say, I like the cut of this, it looks casual.

This is a great sun hoodie, but there are a couple issues. Pros: For my petite friends, the length is great. I am 5’2 and the length hits just at my top hip. It’s very hard to find garments that are not overly long, and this is the main reason why I purchased it. Fit is great. I love how thin in the hoodie is. I wear it running in the heat and when I’m out wearing errands and haven’t overheated. The white color is more of a cream and looks great. I ordered the pink but returned it due to the color being off from the online photo. Cons: First, I noticed mild pilling that was present at the time of purchase. I’ve washed it about 4 times already and nothing has worsened, so that’s good. I wonder what it will look like in a year. Second, it doesn’t have the best odor control. I feel like after one wash, it already started to smell sweaty after air drying. The second time I tried adding baking soda to my washing machine which helped minimally. Hopefully, it’s not too stinky to wear in a year. Lastly, is cost. Yes, everything has gone up in price, but this thin piece of polyester is certainly not worth $60. I paid the price because I was in need. I probably wouldn’t buy it again unless it was on sale.

It pilled horribly after the FIRST WEAR. Would not recommend

The perfect lightweight sun hoodie! The fit is very flattering in my opinion compared to other sun hoodies like the REI brand. Hits at the perfect length in both the waist and the arms. Wore on a long trail run and it was comfy and kept me protected from the sun as expected. It does show some sweat marks but that doesn't bother me much. Please make it in more colors!

This is a great, light weight sun hoodie! I purchased 2 for hiking to give me sun protection on my arms and neck. The design did just that. The fabric is light weight and comfortable. I purchased a size L (I am usually a 12). It was just roomy enough to be comfortable and a bit flattering.

Great sun hoodie option! nice for spring when the temps aren't quite as high, might be heavier than I want for a true scorcher but I have been very comfortable wearing it for warm spring hikes in full sun exposure

I purchased this in-store and came back for the two other colors online. Lightweight, soft, and comfortable.
