I have really enjoyed my Ventano so far. I have snowboarded, splitboarded, summited multiple 14ers, backpacked across the divide, and also just wear it as my daily driver when walking at 8500'. This is a great all around jacket and I find myself grabbing it daily when I need an extra layer. I run pretty cold and will use this jacket down to about 35/40 degrees comfortably with a base layer on. it also seems much more durable than the Ghost Whisper. My medium weighs 372G.
Lightweight rugged perfect for cool but not cold weather. Well made
So my initial thought of the jacket. I thought it was a nice insulator from what it looked like in the picture. It is NOT the jacket is very thin. The comfort rating is say is 35 and above Quality of the jacket is very nice zippers are really nice quality definitely didn’t cheap out
