Sweeeeet

Very warm and very light. Wish I had this on my last summit attempt. Haven’t used it in the cold yet but the materials feel very durable, the 4 huge pockets are perfect and easy to use with gloves. The inside material is almost like plastic but it’s actually breathable. Size seems perfect, I grabbed an XL to be able to add multiple layers underneath. 5’8” 190lbs I got a wide back and shoulders. I probably would have fit in a Large but wanted a little more room for layers. Will review again after a summit attempt in the future.

Well thought out jacket.!

Love it. Well thought out features and fit/mobility is on point. I tried no less than 5 other jackets trying to find a synthetic jacket that meets my needs. This is it!! Fit is perfect. 6'2" 205# athletic wide shoulders. XL is perfect. Layers over mid layers great. Could wear under a shell if the shell was sized for it, but probably wont need to. Quality, design, features, and adjustments are top notch, as always. Nice work MH. This is why I wear almost exclusively MH outerwear.

very thoughtfully designed.

I went looking for a patagonia das light hoodie, and stumbled across this. the design is wonderful: scuba style hood, not bulky velcro cuffs, DEEP hand pockets (i fit a bottle of wine in one pocket), useful zipper pulls, well placed chest pockets. each hand pocket has a clip in it to secure valuables. and it is warm. everything on it feels intentional. i copped a large, and had enough room to fit a heavyweight hoodie underneath. my first mountain hardwear piece and i am impressed.

My Go To Alpine Belay and Base Camp Jacket!

Best belay alpine jacket i own! Warm, durable and includes all the technical specs I nee, nothing I don't. I absolutely love Mountain Hardwear alpine centric technical apparel/gear. Its well made, quality, durable and intent built. The two big chest Napoleon pockets are perfect to store items close to the chest. Finally, I like that Mountain Hardwear focuses on product innovation and gear quality rather than focusing on activism. Great products from Mountain Hardwear!

Awesome Jacket

Really love this jacket. I have the Ghost Whisperer UL but wanted something a little bigger and this is perfect. Very warm, good deep pockets and the hood is awesome. I'm 6' 170 pounds and the medium fit well with enough room to layer if needed.

Durable. Warm.

I love this jacket for daily cragging in the winter. You can really put this piece through the paces and not need to be careful not to damage it. It can handle whatever.
