These are great ski pants except for the length. I always buy “short” length in Columbia hiking pants and ski pants, I’m 5’ 3”. I was skeptical when I read short was a 31.5 inseam ( all the other short pants list between 28-30in inseam), but thought over a ski boot it would work. Unfortunately, they are way too long! Otherwise, fit fine in the waist and hips. Returning for a different style, that really is made for short people.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Runs Large and EXTREMELY LONG. I’m 5’3/130. I usually wear a medium/short and have all of the Columbia snow pants/bibs. I ordered these in a small/short. They are very roomy, way too long and super flared on the bottom. They are way more flared/exaggerated than in the photo. I’m unsure if I will keep them. I do have the pullover jacket so I’m disappointed in how these fit as most of the Columbia pants I have always fit great.
These pants were way too big in the waist...unless I sat down. Then the back gaped embarrassingly (like hello, meet my undies) but the front dug in. Some stretch, guys? The waist will always be covered with a coat so it doesn't need to be FULLY waterproof. I did appreciate only thin insulation as it's hard to find a true shell pant these days, and I like to dial in my own leg layers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 6' and wear a 10-12 pant. I purchased the size large tall and they fit amazing. I wore thermals under them while skiing and there was enough room to do so comfortably. The adjutable tabs on the side were a plus as well for added comfort. They were warm and kept me dry through my several falls - lol. Tons of pockets as well, so that was super handy.
