Beautiful Purple Ski Pants

Love the purple color, but I'm returning them cuz there's a weird lumpiness on both legs in the middle of my calves. Also, I got the mediums because several reviews said to size up, but these are too big in the waist and hips for me (for reference, I'm 5'5" and 135 pounds).

Runs very small.

How can people say these run big? Are you size negative zero? I still bought what should either be my size or one size up, and I couldn't get them closed!

Sturdy, warm snow pants

I bought these snow pants for XC skiing, and have used them for skiing during this cold spell. They kept me very warm, with just the addition of long underwear underneath them. I have also found them indispensable for walking my dog when it's very cold. The reflective lining really keeps me warm. They appear to be very well made, with lots of pockets, sturdy zippers, metal snaps, and lining with elastic at the ankles to keep the cold air out.

Runs small within size, too large when sizing up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5'5", 140lb, 29 waist, 41 hips (hourglass). The medium was very snug around the waist and hip and uncomfortable, but I was absolutely swimming in the large. The adjustable waistband on the medium would not go large enough to make it comfortable. Conversely, the waistband did not adjust small enough on the large, and the thighs were much too large. The rise in the pants was also quite short so it pulled awkwardly at the crotch. They seem warm and durable, so perhaps someone with the matching body type will like them.

A suggestion

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I love Columbia clothing! And very few ski pants come in short sizes like Columbia. I've been wearing these ski pants in a L size for years. Unfortunately, I needed to order XL because my 60+ yr old waist has expanded. This new XL pair fits great in the waist but is quite huge in the hips and legs. I have no choice but to wear them as ski season is here, but it would be great if Columbia redesigned these pants with more size adjustability than currently. Maybe a little elastic in the waist band?

Perfect and warm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve never in my life heard of anyone ever winning these giveaways - myself, friends, family, never. I question if companies actually do give a gift card… but I review products that I’ve bought nevertheless ;) I adore these snow pants. They are perfect fit and the omniheat inside keeps my legs super warm. We had a snow storm here and I had always just worn jeans outside. These pants are a game changer - I could not feel cold at ALL on my legs but somehow they weren’t too hot. 10/10 would recommend.

I should have read the reviews more carefully.

I bought the regular size Columbia pants - 3X plus size. The pants are very narrow in the hips and buttocks and too wide in the waist. It seems that the designer did not understand the female body structure, at least in large sizes. In other respects - an excellent product, well made and very warm. I use them as sleep pants. Cannot be used for activity due to the inappropriate shape, especially the pressure in the lower thigh and thigh area.

Very warm

I like my snow pants and they keep me warm. How thee ever it ran small I got a Med because it said (10-12) well a 10/12 is more like a Lg my true size and I should have gotten an xtra large but I didn’t because it said 14/16 in my mind that was way to big and it has a snap button which isn’t good for my puffie tummy 😞 So I was a bit disappointed I can’t fasten my pants I wish it had not been a snap button.
