[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this jacket they really paid attention to detail The thumb hole is really help on the cold days starting the car The technology inside with the reflective wear helps to keep you warm The hood is very big The zipper is strong and yet the jacket is still very much feminine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second version of this coat I've purchased - I like it that much. I'm 5'10", 162lbs, and the L fits perfectly. (Including the sleeves being long enough - woo hoo!) I also purchased this coat in a different colorway, size XL, a few years ago. I still love that one too, it's just too roomy now that I've lost some lbs. I do plan to keep it though and wear if I really need to bundle up with thicker layers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This coat is everything I was looking for. It has a flattering mid thigh length for a shorter person (5'3) and it feels warm enough for a cold NE winter but it still has a feminine look as they don't have to use as much fill with the omni heat inside layer. The sleeves are a bit long but not a deal breaker. The hood has pull strings which have a loop to stay out of the way which is nice. The medium is ever so slightly tight in the shoulders/arm area but going to the next size up would be too large. I wish the shoulders and arms were just a cm larger so layering under the coat would be more comfortable. Too bad this coat doesn't come in Navy as well or a few other colors (I don't like color blocks)!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was very light when i pulled it out of the pacakge. When i put it on it looks very slimming. So far i have been wearing it in 20 degree weather and snow. Im plenty warm if not too warm and staying dry. Ive purchased a few winter jackets from Columbia but this one is my favorite.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it so much feels like a pillow and I'm so much warmer than I used to be in indiana winter will be looking forward to
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The down insulation provides exceptional warmth without the bulk, making it lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. Its mid-length design offers extra coverage against the cold, while the sleek, tailored fit adds a flattering, stylish look. The durable outer material is wind-resistant and water-repellent, perfect for unpredictable winter weather. Whether you're exploring the outdoors or navigating city streets, this jacket delivers on comfort, quality, and style. A must-have for staying cozy in colder months!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket! The length and curved hemline are perfect and flattering. The fabric is smooth but not slippery. The warmth is there without being suffocating and I can wear layers under it for visiting family that live in colder climates. Very well made. Nice to have a light colored jacket but not have to worry about it getting too dirty by simply brushing up against the car. Love the two tone. I am a traveling Memaw and have lots of grandchildren to chase after. I’m 5’5 and 150lbs and ordered a large.
It is 9 degrees in my neighborhood today. This coat is not warm. I had on insulated pants, merino long underwear, a warm sweater that has served me well over the years, a warm scarf, hat and boots. Compared with a Columbia omni-heat down coat I had for years, this coat just doesn't measure up. Within 5 minutes, I noticed that my arms were cold. Air sneaks up from my knees and makes my stomach area cold unless I keep my hands in the pockets to hold the fabric more snugly against my body. I have always been a fan of Columbia but I am really disappointed in this coat. Also, no inside pockets, no drawstring to pull it in tighter around the middle. No breast pocket, which in my other Columbia coats has been indispensable. I live in the Midwest and NEED a reliable warm coat. This is not it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new coat and ran to Columbia for Black Friday. Was thrilled. I spend a lot of time commuting outside to and from the metro in winter weather. I can tell you that this jacket, not terribly warm. Once it hit 40 degrees in the morning, I was chilly even with 2 layers underneath. This is better if you’re running from your car straight inside. If you’re spending more that 10 minutes in the elements, I’d choose another coat. All that aside, it’s a nice coat. Fits right to size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered both a medium and large. Large based on the recommendation posted. However, this does not take into consideration, your body figure. I have a much smaller waist / upper body than my lower. The large was bulky all over the stomach and arms but fit perfectly on my lower half. The medium was perfect everywhere but my bottom half. If you have a pear / apple size figure, I would not recommend this jacket. Otherwise, it’s adorable and very warm! Sad I have to return both.
