[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this jacket they really paid attention to detail The thumb hole is really help on the cold days starting the car The technology inside with the reflective wear helps to keep you warm The hood is very big The zipper is strong and yet the jacket is still very much feminine
It is 9 degrees in my neighborhood today. This coat is not warm. I had on insulated pants, merino long underwear, a warm sweater that has served me well over the years, a warm scarf, hat and boots. Compared with a Columbia omni-heat down coat I had for years, this coat just doesn't measure up. Within 5 minutes, I noticed that my arms were cold. Air sneaks up from my knees and makes my stomach area cold unless I keep my hands in the pockets to hold the fabric more snugly against my body. I have always been a fan of Columbia but I am really disappointed in this coat. Also, no inside pockets, no drawstring to pull it in tighter around the middle. No breast pocket, which in my other Columbia coats has been indispensable. I live in the Midwest and NEED a reliable warm coat. This is not it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love it so much feels like a pillow and I'm so much warmer than I used to be in indiana winter will be looking forward to
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The down insulation provides exceptional warmth without the bulk, making it lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear. Its mid-length design offers extra coverage against the cold, while the sleek, tailored fit adds a flattering, stylish look. The durable outer material is wind-resistant and water-repellent, perfect for unpredictable winter weather. Whether you're exploring the outdoors or navigating city streets, this jacket delivers on comfort, quality, and style. A must-have for staying cozy in colder months!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket! The length and curved hemline are perfect and flattering. The fabric is smooth but not slippery. The warmth is there without being suffocating and I can wear layers under it for visiting family that live in colder climates. Very well made. Nice to have a light colored jacket but not have to worry about it getting too dirty by simply brushing up against the car. Love the two tone. I am a traveling Memaw and have lots of grandchildren to chase after. I’m 5’5 and 150lbs and ordered a large.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a new coat and ran to Columbia for Black Friday. Was thrilled. I spend a lot of time commuting outside to and from the metro in winter weather. I can tell you that this jacket, not terribly warm. Once it hit 40 degrees in the morning, I was chilly even with 2 layers underneath. This is better if you’re running from your car straight inside. If you’re spending more that 10 minutes in the elements, I’d choose another coat. All that aside, it’s a nice coat. Fits right to size.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered both a medium and large. Large based on the recommendation posted. However, this does not take into consideration, your body figure. I have a much smaller waist / upper body than my lower. The large was bulky all over the stomach and arms but fit perfectly on my lower half. The medium was perfect everywhere but my bottom half. If you have a pear / apple size figure, I would not recommend this jacket. Otherwise, it’s adorable and very warm! Sad I have to return both.
Exceeded all my expectations. I'm over the moon thrilled with my new coat. It's perfect, travelling to NYC not using the coat in below zero temperature. Trust me, The pictures don't do justice how beautiful in person took my breath away. Gift yourself, or family members. In the process losing weight normally xl now large fits with room to layer. Love the coat so much next year buy smaller size, and donate this one. Thanks! Columbia, You have outdone yourself.
When I ordered it, I was not at all sure I would like this jacket. I wanted something warm and waterproof that didn’t have a bulky, puffy look. This is exactly what I was looking for. The waterproof feature gives it great wind resistance, which keeps you warmer, making the lesser down fill more effective. The thumb hole cuffs are a big plus. And, that space age lining, another huge bonus. I could not be happier with this purchase, it is so cozy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the mountain croo lll today because I loved the first Columbia code I bought years ago it had the gold lining in the coat which made it very warm. I got home and realized that the sleeves were not lined with the gold lining like my old one. That's my fault I should have looked in the sleeve but I assume the whole thing was lined. This is disappointing to me why is this not lined with the same technology as the body?????
