Smartwool  Smartloft Hybrid Jacket - Women's

I love it! Warmer than I thought, yet it breaths. Great for my 6 mile walks at 15min/ mile & cross country skiing in 24 degrees F. So comfortable! Plant of pockets!

I have the older version of this jacket. Two of them over the last two years. They fit wonderfully. This new jacket, while stylish, has an updated fit that just doesn't work. I am a small chested A cup. This new version has sooooo much fabric in the chest area that it creates a bulge where the boobs are. Which on a small chested woman like myself just accentuates the fact that there's nothing to fill it in and looks ridiculous. It's about 2-3"" larger in the chest compared to the old version when laid on top of the older style. Also the overall size is just bigger than the past two years versions. Wish you would go back to the old fit because this new fit does not work. I loved the looks of the mink color with the black accents but it just didn't work for me.

This is the absolute best jacket to wear while running in Michigan Winters. Warm, yet breathable, and great for temps in the single digits to mid 30s. Even if I sweat it allows me to breath without trapping in the heat. Chest pocket is the perfect size for a large cell phone without the bounce. Perfect to layer with other smart wall base layers based on temperature outside. Also love the thumb holes for warmer days when I don't quite need full gloves but want a little protection here and there for my hands.

This is literally the best smartwool object I own (and I own a lot of smartwool). I throw this on for a midlayer often, sometimes just over a teeshirt in summer when the nights grow chilly, and sometimes bring it to the office to throw on when the AC blasts. It's just perfect. It was a lot of money, and so I hesitated -- but this is a workhorse, looks great, and is warm in that comfortable soft way. The inside zip pocket is great for a cell phone on a short walk.

I bought this a few years ago and loved it. Living in the mountains, I wear it every season and have worn it out. I recently bought it again in the same size (M). Way to big!! Returned and ordered it in a small. Received it and it fits too small. Fits much tighter and with my fingers in the finger holes, it pulls on the fabric and is uncomfortable. I haven't decided if I will keep it. Why did you have to change the previous size?

I actually bought this jacket for my sister for her birthday In December. I had bought one with the hood attached and love it! So my sister is a jacket hound and thought this would be a great layer and a nice jacket all around. The fit for mine is roomy for an extra layer if needed. I had bought her the black since it goes with everything and it looks sleek also. Thank-you Smartwool for existing!

Basically, this layering is my go-to, must have for Minnesota winters. Oh, this jacket fits true to size.

I love this jacket so much that I have it in both Black and Navy. It is the perfect weight for Spring and Fall as an outer layer or as a base layer in the Winter. The best part is that the smartwool fabric is breathable and does not trap sweat. I wear it in the hospital over my scrubs to keep my bare arms warm all year!

I wear my jackets all through the winter in all kinds of sporting situations, from tennis to yoga to wakkkng and skiing. It's so warm but lightweight and versatile! I literally wear my jackets out from continual use. On my recent purchase, I bought 2 of the jackets. They're so beautiful and perfect!
