design flaw

good straps, as one would expect from NRS, but with a design flaw. You can't fully cinch the strap, like you would need to attach a hiking pole to a pack, because a bulky label is sewn into the inside of strap. Unnecessary and reduces the functionality of the strap.

Sometimes it's exactly what you need

I have a car-topable rowboat with inwales and spacers. I have been thinking about using some small strap to attach the gunnels to the roof racks and thus not have to stress the frame by running lines over the hull. Well NRS was way ahead of me. These were precisely the thing I needed - the correct length, longevity (metal buckles), and load rating.

Micro Straps on water and snow

I love the NRS Micro Straps. I did not know I needed the smaller straps until I started using them for small spaces and smaller jobs. I find them much easier and more convenient to use than the larger buckle on the full-size straps. Currently, I am using them as ski straps, too.
