Simply put - PERFECTION!
Goldilocks would have been elated! Not too big, not too small, JUST RIGHT. I did extensive research before purchasing this, especially with the big cost for something so small. Plenty reviews talk about not enough space and the odd connection for the water line. I disagree! Plenty of room for my snacks, my dog’s snacks, an extra layer, a place to hang my helmet when riding instead of hiking…so many zippered pockets! And I love the fill style more than camelbak. And I tuck the hose under the chest strap, super easy and it stays there. Long camelbak hoses always caused problems for me when riding; I like this much better. It’s also a perfect fit. I’m a muscular build with broad shoulders and wanted streamlined but not tiny, and something to not make me sweat a lake. It’s PERFECTION!

Too small for extra items
This is a well-made, comfortable backpack. However, it’s just too small for my needs. Once I have a partially full hydration pouch, a sweatshirt and my rain jacket, it’s full. I like to also carry some first aid items/kit with me and it’s just too small.

Great backpack! Not to big/clunky for day trips

This bag is amazing. First thought it might be small, but there’s so many pocket for everything I need to pack away. I can fit a sweater, phone/camera accessories, personal items, and snacks so easily. Perfect for when I go skiing too.

Great pack!

This is a great pack! I needed something just a bit smaller than my other day packs for shorter hikes and this fit the bill perfectly. I am still able to fit snacks, first aid, rain gear, bear spray, spot and of course water. Bonus it’s in nice colors instead of hideous bright ones! 😂

Excellent small bag

I must confess, I don’t use this bag for cycling. I wanted a small backpack/hydration pack for when I’m fly fishing. I needed something to carry a jacket, snacks and water. This fits the bill exactly. As a bonus there is a small pouch in the bottom that is meant for bike maintenance supplies, it’s perfect for extra leaders, sink, bobbers and even a small fly box. The side pockets on the belt hold my shake and floatant. The weight is so nicely balanced that I don’t even feel when it’s on. And the curved shoulder straps mean less interference with my cast. This bag missed its true purpose. Thanks Osprey!

Might be great for someone, but not me

I was extremely excited for this backpack. Being a smaller person with a small torso, I've been on the look out for a light back pack to use for all of my different activities. LOVED the color since I'm not a huge fan of flashy or neon colors. And I was looking for a pack that had the outer pocket to quickly stuff jackets and other things into. This pack had everything I was looking for. Unfortunately it fit me horribly. The straps were sticking out at a weird angle from my chest. I went in the store to try a similar pack in case it was due to how it was packaged while shipped and had the same issue. I also could not get the hip belt tight enough due to the pocket compartments. I REALLY wanted this product to be for me but I wasn't going to spend my money on something that fit so poorly (for me). This might be the perfect pack for someone else. Size reference: I'm a 5'0" tall woman, 34DD, 40" hips", 30 - 31" waist

Not what I was looking for

Disclaimer-I did not buy this for MTB! I thought I’d give it a try as a running Pack, but it was a little heavy for its size. It has a lot of really great features especially the pockets on the waste belt. I’m not sure the small magnetic closure would be secure during winter running. I did return it because it’s not exactly what I was looking for.

Favorite day hike/cycle pack

I adore this backpack. It fits perfectly on my smaller frame and has just the right number of compartments! I use it for day hikes and cycling. Perfect size, perfect fit, cost is on par with the quality. When I don't use the tool pouch for bike accessories, I use it for art accessories (pens, erasers, etc.).

Osprey Raven

This pack is very well thought out with an amzing amount of space to carry more than just water. It is also remarkably comfortable.
