Bought the tent and pitched once in the garden. Couple years later, the rainfly is cracked and faded. The rest of the tent is in mint condition, but after writing MSR several times, I have no response on how to get a replacement rainfly. Having many, many Cascade Designs products this a real disappointment, not for the eventual failure of material, but for the really BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Only taken this on 2 overnight shake-downs, but so far: sets up comically fast with two people but is still possible with one person (color coded poles/corners!), plenty spacious for 2 very tall adults and 1 dog (I can fully dress/comfortably sit up inside!!), holds up to some light rain and moderate wind when not even staked very thoroughly or well (we could only properly stake 3 corners at one rocky site and didn't bother to stake the vestibule either night - worked fine regardless, no loud flapping or blowing around). If you don't mind the weight (I choose comfort over ultralight bragging rights any day) it's a very forgiving tent for beginners and weekend backpackers. No complaints here, and can't wait to take this on a longer trip.
