I used this in Alaska for a solid week, sometimes layering under, sometimes over. It is a large, boxy fit (I am generally a medium but ended up with a small) BUT it was a lifesaver in the elements there! It was my total go-to every single day (no, I did not pack lightly, but this was much of what I needed). I love it very, very much.
So cute but OMG. HUGE!!! Based on reviews I ordered my normal size Medium. It fits like an XL, and is so bulky it's not a cute XL. The model on the site is wearing a Medium and I would bet the stylist clipped it in the back. The shape swings out like an A, so from the side I looked 3x's my normal size. The shoulder seams are half way down my arm making it look like I was wearing a very off fitting jacket. Surface design is 5 stars. Cute, vibrant, funky. Material is synthetic but soft and seems like it would be warm for temps around 40*F. I was hoping to order it in an XS but see it's only offered in Small. Debating whether it's worth it to try again... but it's soooo cuuuute! REI: Please do another version of this in a better fit! With pants! And Socks! I'd eat that up....
I asked a couple friends what they thought of the picture of this jacket, I got some luke warm answers such as-“It could be cute or it could look like a granny coat.” I actually got a couple of the granny comments. Well, this non-granny lady in her 30’s took a chance, and I love it. Don’t know how it will perform in the cold but that’s not why I bought it. It’s for cute outings and to wear what I please. I like it. Goes with wiener dogs.
Cute jacket. There’s nothing “granny” about this and what does that mean anyway? Wow, Ageism at its best. This is very nice, cute for ALL ages. Runs large, so rec one size down.
The jacket itself and the pattern is great awesome beautiful. The sizing is ridiculous. I bought an extra large based on the size chart. Then I had to return it for a large and now I wish I’d gotten a medium, but I don’t wanna have to deal with returning and re-buying it *again*. Even accounting for bulky clothing underneath it’s still way big on me.
Worn for a month and I’m obsessed. Living in Japan currently and the days can be hot but evening cool and crisp. This packs up very compact in my bag when I’m not wearing it. I love the pattern, it’s very chic. I have gotten compliments every time I’ve worn it.
This is a super lightweight jacket with the perfect warmth, not sure how it works but I feel as if it adapts to different temperatures. I bought this to have something warm, comfortable but most importantly lightweight, for traveling, since I have to hop in
