Mt. Washington Winter Approved
Bought this as my mid layer for our annual Mt. Washington hike up the Lions Head Winter Route. With this mid layer fleece, a pair of alpine onset 150 bottoms and half zip top, and OR Snow Pants - that combo got me through perfectly until we got above the tree line and had to layer up further. 10 degrees outside not including the 20mph sustained winds before we got above tue trees. The moisture wicking, comfort, and heat retention/breathability were exactly what I needed to make the hike a success this year and never get my clothes wet from sweat. Warmth, moisture wicking, and comfort. Mt. Washington Winter approved.
Great Mid-Layer
Breaths well on the move and retains warmth when resting. Love the grid fleece.
Definitely recommend this product
This is my go-to mid-weight base layer if I am not wearing a thin merino shirt of some sort. Love the athletic/form fit and the chest pocket is nice when you need to store something small or even a snack when using as your only layer for more aerobic activities. Fits secure and higher on the neck when fully zipped, which is nice when the winds pick up and it is colder. Wicks moisture well with the fleece waffle pattern on the inside. I wear this when I ski, bike, trail run, and casually to work at times. Highly recommend
Feels good. I wear a lot. Probably too much.
I bought this shirt to use for everything from travelling to backpacking to working out to just kicking around the house. For a lot of synthetic shirts I wear an undershirt because the material doesn't feel great against my skin. This one is super comfortable. Probably the biggest testimony I can give is that I've found myself wearing it for 3 days in a row. I just like the fit. I live in Maine and this is going to be perfect for Spring. And Summer. And Fall. And Winter.
Inconsistent sizing - Vietnam / Indonesia
Not sure which is the correct sizing..... I ordered 2 of these in the same size XXL and the one made in Vietnam color black is one size larger than the one made in Indonesia which is color spice. I had the same issue with my 2 XXL Men's Vigor Plus Fleece Jackets. The Black was a size larger than the blue. It seems OR has an issue with fierce being inconsistent wit sizing depending on the country is made in. Other than the sizing issues the quality is excellent.
Great midlayer for Scotland in early March
I picked this up in preparation for a trip to Scotland at the tail end of the winter season. Temperatures averaged 28-40 degrees Fahrenheit with strong winds and light rain being common. This garment worked extremely well over top of a cheap polyester base layer and often only needed a rain jacket to help protect against the wind when out hiking. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a lightweight and warm midlayer.
Nice jacket
The pullover jacket is great! I really enjoy the fitted cut. It's not baggy and stays close to the torso and arms when walking without feeling too tight. It's also very warm, especially for the thickness. I've hiked in the jacket and also use it for morning dog walks. For me, the jacket is perfect for temperatures in the 40s. It's ok for 30s unless the wind is blowing otherwise I've used an outer wind shell and the combo is perfect.
Vigor Grid Fleece
I wear one of these almost every day at work in the fall winter and spring. It is comfortable, warm, and breathable. It’s light weight and very versatile. For me it fits true to size. The thumb loops are very helpful when layering with additional insulating layers and the zipper helps dump heat when you need to. Buy more than one so you don’t have to wait for it when it’s in the wash!

Warm and comfortable, but kind of short for someone tall.
Bought this to try one of OR fleeces that are comparable to my Patagonia R1 and RAB Fleeces. Found the shirt warm and comfortable, maybe a little cooler than my Patagonia R1s. My biggest issues is the fit, as it the shirt is too short of some that is 6'4. The seam on the bottom also bunches up and allow the shirt to ride up on my chest sometimes.

The only layer I need for cold weather running
For cold, windy days I tend to layer this over a technical tee. It gives me just the warmth I need while still allowing heat to vent off if I'm moving fast or pushing some uphills. The fit is trim enough that it doesn't feel like it's billowing around and the long half zip allows me to zip it pretty far down for additional venting if I get warm.
