Yes , I recommend this product
Jim is wrong. The dark spots are the tan down/feathers that are visible through the intentionally translucent outer fabric. The spots are subtle and give the garment character by virtue of its genuine down composition. Not all colors are translucent.

EXCELENTE. El color lila o lavanda es unico; es tan fino, tan liviano y tan calentito que lo vas a amar. No se dejen llevar por los comentarios de que parece sucio (en los colores claros se traslucen las plumas)

Arrived with dark spots

Don’t think it’s related to REI, but I picked up in-store an online order of two of these vests. There are dark spots on several areas of both vests. Returning right away. Would have kept both if these spots were not present. Both items appeared to be in original packaging and with tags, so perhaps manufacturing defects.
