Well-made but surprisingly stretchy & slinky

These appear to be well-made with good stitching. But I was surprised when they arrived since I thought the nylon would have a texture similar to Sahara shorts (yet more elastic due to the spandex). But these feel slinky and at first a little off-putting (Will they fall off too easily? Will they look like a long Speedo?). But they are comfortable and loose enough so I plan to keep them. While I typically prefer shorts that are shorter than knee-length, these are soft enough to not irritate my kneecap. One troublesome item is they have just 4 belt loops but they need at least 6; I need to make sure the pant waistband over the hand pockets is in place each time I pull them up. Also, a narrowish belt might slip out too easily. Although there are enough pockets (5), I would also like another rear pocket; it would not need a zipper if it has a cover like on my Sahara shorts. And the fast-dry pockets do not hang-up on small items like keys like some mesh pockets do.

Great for rafting/watersports

Love the stretchy fabric. Super comfortable. Would have liked a different rear pocket but otherwise great short for boating/hiking/active maneuvers.

Comfortable but needs some stretch in the waist

Comfortable, although would prefer to have some stretch in the waist. Well made on initial inspection.

Nice color, odd material

Nice shorts, material is kind of shiny and odd, but the color is good (dark green). Fit is quite wide in the legs, but still look good.
