Full rest in rain during camping trip
Used this as a windbreaker and full rain cover during a car camping trip. Kept my mid layer dry and folded easily into its pocket pouch nicely for space saving. I didn't notice major wrinkling from the storage in its pouch bit it was in the pouch for about 24 hours. This coat was also great for keeping you cozy during a breezy day. Colors are bright and I got complimented on the style. I was worried to buy plus size from Cotopaxi but they definitely have good sizing for XL!
Last minute buy was perfect
I was stopping in Boulder before going to Rocky in a couple days and I needed something to really cut the wind but was super light. Got this jacket on clearance and I loved the color and it fit in my purse perfectly! Super lightweight, put it over an under armor and a fleece layer while in Rocky in below freezing temps and was just fine.
Windbreaker
Loved it! Hiked Quilotoa in Ecuador wearing this and I loved that I could wrap it around my waist or shove it in my Cotopaxi backpack when I was warm or it wasn’t raining, but could easily slip it on when needed.
Ah-mazing!
This windbreaker is great! First, the colors of the windbreaker are so vibrant and fun. Your bound to be in good spirits and ready to take on an adventure when you wear this jacket. There is a zip pocket as well as two hand pockets- plenty of space to put your belongings. I put this windbreaker to the test when traveling to Terceira Island, located in the Azores. I wore it on our moped drives as well as to the top of some of the viewpoints where the wind was incredibly strong. The jacket held up beautifully, and kept me protected from the wind while also not feeling like I was wearing a garbage bag (no ventilation!). Would highly recommend - would buy again.
Great Windbreaker
I have used this windbreaker a couple times now and love it. It is very lightweight, but keeps the wind out. I was able to stay comfortable with a lightweight wool sweater underneath in 45 F degree weather with a light wind and was comfortable. I also recommend sizing up one size to make it comfortable for layering. I could have bought a small and that would have fit, but layering would make it a bit snug. I bought the medium and it's perfect for layering and I know with multiple layers underneath I will probably be warm/comfortable if it was another 45F degree day with lots of wind.
Must Have Runners!!
A friend of mine packed her extra Teca Half-Zip and I borrowed it during a half marathon when the wind was brutal. Life changing. Went home and ordered myself one right away
Love it!
I have already received so many compliments on this jacket! The color is beautiful and the fit/design is super comfortable.
Love
I’m 158, 5’8”, ordered a large and love the fit. So cute
Great for wind, not so much for sun
The material is very thin. I wore this while summiting in Tucson, AZ. Held up beautifully against the wind, though not for warmth. It was too “sticky” to wear directly against my skin on warmer days when I wanted to have some protection against the sun, so it really only works when I am wearing long sleeves underneath. Which is kind of a disappointment because now I’m not sure I can wear it all summer. I’ll give it another try, but bummer. Maybe the crop is different? I’m always between XS and S and went with the S. Tried both on in store.
Repeat buy
Bought another unit for myself to rotate with. Highly recommend these aren't like usual rain parkas, they're way lighter and pack flat into small pockets of bags and organizers. They machine wash room temp and air dry fast. I've washed mine many times over and it still has as good water resistance as when brand new. Tip: buy 1-2 sizes bigger if you intend to also cover your daypack in a jiffy. I'm usually M but bought XL which doesn't feel too big at all. Also, if you're busty, you may want to size up.
