Columbia  Zing III Fleece Jacket - Kids'

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fleece is a yearly staple for my family. We buy one for both of my boys every year. They wash/hold up well, the colors are great and they keep my kids warm. Gotta say, I love the new bright colors. (My kids instantly gravitated to the bright green/blue and the red/blue stripes.) They are used a lot. From an everyday medium jacket, mid layer under warmer jacket or rain shell, camping, hiking, anything outdoors really. As long as nothing changes I will continue to buy these and recommend them to all my mom friends, who now buy them for their kids too. Seriously... we are all walking around looking like a Columbia Ad lol! Thanks Columbia for making a great product.

I had shopped around looking on other websites for just the right fleece when I went to Columbia's. Was tickled to death to find just the right fleece for him. It was difficult to choose from all the patterns but after a little thought I decided on the camo because he is an outdooor boy who is a hunter with his Dad. I am sure he will get a great deal of use for this. Knowing him it will be his fave since he is warm blooded and this is such a great weight to wear alone or layer with his hunting clothes. I couldn't believe how quickly my order came and now that I am a member of Columbia I will be checking out all the benefits especially with Christmas coming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it got cool, my 8 yr old son went to put on his favorite jacket from last year (this gray camo one) and realized he had outgrown it. He broke into tears and i immediately jumped online to order the next size for him. I have never seen him so obsessed with a piece of clothing. He was so excited that he could still get one! And the one he wore every day last year (and part of the previous year) still has plenty of life in it! The perfect weight for those cool days when you don’t want the full winter coat but need something more than a sweatshirt.

He's worn it steadily since then as his first pick for pretty much any weather (we have to force a heavy coat on him when it gets cold). Now he's 7 and he needed a bigger size. I was very happy to find that the website still had the camo he likes. He's 48" tall and very lean. This looks a little big on him, but considering how much use he got out of the previous one, I'm expecting him to wear this for years to come. Thanks, Columbia.

Bought this for my son. Got a size small and it fits great. He’s a size 6 but the size small gives a little room. He loves the camp patter which is really nice. It’s not thick, but it is warm and will make a great under layer for his ski coat. One thing I wish they did do was make the thumb holes at the end of the sleeves since for him they are a tad long. Also wish they would’ve made the zipper ribbon a little longer.

I bought this sweater for a gift exchange and going by the size chart and the other reviews I ordered a medium for a stocky somewhat shorter 12 yr old..perfect fit and his mom told me he wore it to bed because he just did not want to take it off:) he said it was the best sweater he'd ever had..it was a little more then we were supposed to spend but so worth it in my opinion, the quality is evident

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These fleeces are absolutely amazing, they was up so nice and hold up to the toughness of the little ones, this is my second time ordering these, only because they grew out of the other ones that last 2 years for them and we were able to hand them down to someone else! They were still in such great shape. I cant say enough about these jackets the kids love them!!!!

I bought this fleece for my son to wear underneath his Columbia rain coat & on cooler days. My son loves this fleece!!! Everyday my son wants to wear this fleece to school. He gets disappointed when the weather is too warm for a fleece & hangs his head. The fleece is warm & he never complains about being cold.

It is better then the other barnd products like Northface. I got this jacket delivered before time. I am happy to have this jacket. After this I purchased two more for me and my wife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought one of these a while ago for the winter. I am a smaller man who is usually too short for men's sizes and I bought the XL. Fits great and I wear it when I ride my bike to college in the cold weather.
