best shower tent
I’ve owned probably 4 different shower tents- dual room, floorless, hub pole models, push up hub models, they aren’t as nice as this one. Nemo Heliopolis has: - huge space, you don’t feel claustrophobic - shower beer holder - thoughtful routing hole for shower system hoses - solid construction with very rigid aluminum poles of quite thick diameter - zipper lock for keeping people from accidentally opening it when you’re in it - toilet paper waterproof cover so you can dual purpose the tent as a toilet tent The floor is waterproof tarp with a 2 inch tall mesh drain around the whole edge, I recommend pitching the tent on an incline and using one of the guy lines to hold up the uphill corner so water can drain very effectively out of a corner. I put a wood slat board on the floor so as not to stand in still water. Best one so far.
Water doesn’t drain
Bought this to serve as a shower and or potty tent. On the one hand there are some helpful features, like pockets for soap and TP. It could use a few hooks inside for clothes and towels, but easy enough self mods. However, the big design flaw is the drain mesh screen is higher than the floor so the water pools when showering, getting any little pile of clothes you want to change into wet. To drain it you have to tip it on its side. I also found it hard to set up solo. I returned this product.
