Game-changer for post workout and beach days! 🌅
The NEMO Helio LX Pressure Shower does exactly what we hoped. It keeps solid pressure for several minutes (no pumping while rinsing!), the kids can use it with ease, and it’s been a game-changer for quick cleanups in the garage after beach days or muddy adventures. Even better? When we leave it in the sun, the water gets warm—like nature’s own upgrade. The kids love it, it works beautifully, and it’s become one of those small daily tools that quietly makes life better.
Worked Great!
Bought this for a week-long camping trip to an island with no running water despite seemingly unfavorable reviews. It performed well, with one fellow-camper indicating that we had "made their adventure immeasurably better"! The shower packs down well. The flow was sufficient for showering, but certainly less flow/pressure than your home. It works best if you keep the sprayer (and the target) low. If filling this with something other than a hose/spigot (e.g., bucket) you should consider bringing a funnel since the opening is small. The unit is pretty heavy (50 lbs) when full and challenging to carry long distances or over uneven terrain. Overall a great addition to your next camping adventure!
Great product for car camping or extended trips.
Great way to have a shower on extended trips. Some people complain about not enough water pressure for a good shower. This is not a home shower replacement item. So if you are expecting to have a ton of pressure and lots of water, please do us all a favor and stay home. This is to get you enough water to wet yourself down, lather up, clean yourself, then rinse off. The 5 gallons is enough for several people to use it. But practice what we call Military showers. Wet yourself down, stop the water flow, lather up, then rinse off. Just went on an extended solo car camping trip. The 5 Gallons lasted almost the entire week and did have to fill up again. But taking multiple showers and rinsing off dishes, this came in handy. Set it out in the sun all day helped heat the water. It might not be hot like a home shower, but it was better than taking a cold shower.
Amazing Shower/Washer for the easy of design
I have had the original Helio for 10 years. Taking it camping, flying with it and fill it when I get in, diving, boating, washing off at the beach... it is amazing. I only upgraded to the LX because I want to carry more water on 7+ days of camping. Key, as a couple others have posted, is understanding what you are buying. Is this at the pressure of a powered pump.. NOPE... that is why your house has 60PSI water. Does the Helio work as designed? Yes. I love it, and it offers so many options as a portable water system for washing everything!!!
Better Pressure Than Your Condo 💥
The Pressure! Love this this thing. Seriously has better water pressure than some apartments I've lived in. The reviews I saw around pressure and functionality have got to be user error. The design is perfection. Nice work NEMO!
Good quality product
This portable shower has a great built quality. The pressure that came out of it was equally impressive and the stream lasted for much longer than expected. When the pressure goes down a little, you only need to pump it about 2-3 times, and you get the pressure back quite fast. Great product overall!
Nice Shower - Works as expected.
Purchased the shower for camping purposes. My friend had the older version. This was a definite improvement. Held pressure. Sprayed water for cleaning purposes. Not sure what else I could have asked for.
Works Beautifully
Use this in conjunction with the shower at the dry cabin. ZERO issues, love this shower. I also use it for washing dishes. Love having the spray nozzle.
