Some brands determine their own temperature rating by aligning to the Comfort rating for women’s bags, to the Lower Limit rating for men’s bags, or somewhere in the middle for nongendered bags.

Great Bag
Got this bag after agonizing over a few options and bearing through using a bag that was a bit too short for my frame (6' 2'' @ 240lbs). Bottom line up-front: Best bag I've owned in long time. Western mountaineering is one of those brands that I respect for a lot of reasons. They are really good about sourcing VERY ethical down, the construction is next to the best I have ever seen offered (aside from boutique bag/quilt makers), it's very light weight, packs down to nothing, and with the baffle design should allow you to get a few degrees of extra warmth if you shake the down to the top of the bag. Obviously, the warmth is going to be directly effected by the pad you use, but as long as you have some idea of what you're doing in the back country, you shouldn't have any issues. I purchased the 6' 6'' version and will say the fit is sublime. Roomy in the shoulders which is necessary since I tend to be a side sleeper, and has enough room in the foot box that I don't feel as though I have my feet bound together. The material is not noisy, and as far as I can tell, resists the odd feather loss extremely well. Also, I feel it is important to note that if you feel so inclined, you can ship the bag to WM and have it overstuffed with ~2oz of extra down for $40 USD and get another 5 degrees out of the bag. The only down side I can see is that since it is full down you need to be very careful to not get it wet, but with something like a 8L dry sack you can get it packed really small and have the peace of mind that it'll be warm and dry in a downpour. Overall, great quality bag, and I think this will be my go to for summer/shoulder seasons for at least the next decade. I also know that my review is not all inclusive so I would recommend reading the review from "Outdoor Gear Lab" for a really through breakdown of the bag. Their review was honestly the deciding factor for me. Cheers.
Great quality but too wide and let drafts in
I bought this bag for three-season use. I'm a 5'8 and 140 pounds woman, and I found this bag way too wide. I'm a side sleeper so the room in the hips and feet were perfect, but there was a lot of extra space around my elbows which caused cold spots in the bag. Once I tucked the excess fabric under my arms, the sleeping bag immediately got warmer. Not the bag's fault since it clearly states the dimensions. The opening of the sleeping bag is huge (from shoulder to shoulder), and you can't really tuck it around your neck because of the tension from the drawstring on the collar. The only way to keep warmth in is to tighten the hood and collar as much as possible. I'm a side sleeper and when I tightened everything, the zipper and velcro laid right against my face and they're unfortunately very scratchy, stiff and cold. I couldn't move them away. In the same line of thought, there are really stiff 1" pieces of fabric on either side of the zipper which rubbed painful against my knees since I wasn't wearing a base layer. I bought this bag expecting really high quality, and it's definitely there in the down and the fabric, but all those issues made me return it. This bag would be great for someone with really broad shoulders and who wears base layers + a balaclava. It was definitely much warmer than my 30 comfort-rated bag, so I'm sure you could push this bag past the 30 degrees, and there's definitely a lot of options for ventilation in warmer weather so it would be a great option for a three season bag for the right person.
