Most bike helmets are skeletonized for ventilation requiring bald guys to wear a skull cap to keep the sun from burning their noggin. The Smith Maze helmet gives complete coverage that protects from the sun as well as a crash. It's also comfortable to wear. This old bald guy considers it a total win.
Really nice helmet. The only issue was the chin strap. The end was just laying in the box. I thought it was not put on at the time of manufacturing. However I was wrong. Two straps go through the end from what I can tell by looking at pictures of other helmets. Now the next thing is the helmet wants to hang low in the front. So if you riding A down handlebar bike it’s great. However when you lift your head it wants to go over the very top of your eyes. Might be too big for me and that’s the problem. I always take A large. So I would be shocked if that’s it. However I love the actual helmet so much I am going to buy A cooling cap to wear under it before I return it. Hoping that works out.
Great style and comfort! Three adjustable settings are great for a relaxed fit.
I’m pleased with the helmet-basic look, fits great.
Inexpensive but cheaply made. Not typical of Smith Helmets, probably not great protection
Lightweight, comfortable, well constructed. Not too hot despite not having too many events. Protected my head from sunburn. Happy with his purchase on sale, although colors were limited at the time. Serves its purpose well.
Light, comfortable, good coverage. Perfect
