When you are looking for a one- ski quiver- look no further. I have had the pleasure of skiing the SOS all around the world in variable, reliable, sketchy, and pristine conditions and it serves. The design, stiffness, and construction permit you to do what you do best which is SKI, and even though you are fully in charge the ski does the dirty work and you can just react to the aspects ahead, bumps, powder, groomers, corn, and everything in between. Not for beginners, or perhaps for beginners looking to push their skiing.
I absolutely love this ski! It’s my go to daily driver. I work in a ski shop and have demoed pretty much every ski on the wall and this one takes the cake 🍰Whether it’s a resort day or taking it uphill in the backcountry this ski absolutely can handle it all. It is the perfect width to enjoy the hard packed days while also gives you float on the powder days. It has the perfect amount of rocker to give it a super fun personality while not compromising at all on performance. If you are looking for your one ski fits all this is absolutely it.
I got on my first pair of SOS skis back in 2017 and haven't looked back! Since then, I've been on 3 different models of the SOS and it is literally the one ski quiver. I use it to ski park, pow, crud, groomers, you name it! I've never loved a ski more, it does great at high speeds, cutting through crud, and floating through pow! At 101mm underfoot it's a great ski for someone looking for the one ski that does it all. I mounted it with the look pivot at the recommended mounting point and think it's the perfect setup!
I love these skis, and they’ve made me a better skier. I feel confident on them no matter where I am on the mountain or what the conditions are, be it ice in Maine, powder in Japan, or bell to bell in Colorado. They’re float on powder and crush through all the afternoon slush like it’s nothing. You can pick up some serious speed on these skis, and oh wow is it fun. If I could only ski one ski for the rest of my life, it would be these. They’re going to show you a good time every day of the week.
The SOS is a strong and stable ski. It has a wide turn radius, and skis like a boat, plowing over inconsistencies in the snow. It can handle any terrain you take it through. This is a ski I can rely on to land airs, and hold an edge. It’s also super fun to let them rip down some groomers! Overall, great ski for when you’re skiing all over the mountain.
Honestly, they are the best ski I have ever skied - hands down. They can rip at high speeds, float in pow, ski through chopped crud like it's butter and literally go anywhere on the resort with ease!! It is not a lie, they pretty much can do it all :)
Ski coaching all week requires a ski that does well in all conditions and can take triple digit days on snow! They crush bumps, jumps, drops and can lay an awesome carve. They're stable without being heavy and I feel secure on any terrain. If you are looking for one ski to do it all look no further than the SOS!
I use the SOS skis for everything! As ski instructor I use them from teach on the magic carpet to the highest levels. As an athlete, I use them to compete at my freeride comps and they handle absolutely everything!
The SOS truly are the do it all ski. The tips stay floating through any kind of deep snow-cold smoke or cement. They pop with energy and rail groomers. Plus this year’s top sheets are such a fun pattern!
