About the graphic: Alex Showerman was drawn to this board for the confidence it inspires through the float and the ability to wiggle through the tight trees of her home state in Vermont. Professional mountain bikers Alex Showerman and Micayla Gatto's friendship began in the desert of Virgin, Utah at the marquee women's freeride event, Red Bull Formation. But they quickly bonded over their shared love of snowboarding, big mountain lines (on bikes and boards), and art.
After coming out, Alex struggled to find community and belonging in snowboarding, and dreamed up the idea of designing a snowboard to reconnect with the sport. Inspired by Micayla's riding and art over the years, she was the obvious choice to bring the vision to life. The snowboard evokes the message of home, belonging and growth.
Starting at the top of the board with the iconic Camel's Hump ridge line, representing Alex's home state of Vermont. The mountainous lines transform into flowing water as you move down the board, representing the waterfall Alex grew up next to, while the wolf and butterfly design was created by Micayla to show Alex's fierce and creative spirit as well as her journey of coming out and living authentically.

The Revel is a bit of a beast! I was expecting full surf mode but what I found was a very capable carving machine. It wants to do some big sweeping eurocarves! Of course the shape also lends itself to floating but I was surprised at how much it grabbed on firm groomers. I found that I wanted my stance posi posi to get a fully aggressive carve going. Slightly less quick in tight trees than the Eclipse but workable with some effort behind it.
