Terrible packing. Purchase your skis elsewhere!!

Really disappointing experience. I received the new skis in a box well over a foot longer than the skis, with nothing inside of the box besides the packing slip single piece of paper. As such, my brand new skis arrived relatively dinged up. There are scuffs and light scratches, including several small circular dents/impressions, throughout the topsheets. Additionally, there are scratches in the bases of both skis including a scratch that broke the surface of the base on one ski. Down both skis, from top to bottom, there are scratches straight down the bases. Horrible packing led to a subpar delivery that will prevent me from making these types of purchases through REI going forward. Spend your money elsewhere with a company that will take care of your gear!!

I demoed several skis this winter (Nordica Enforcer, Volkl M7, etc.) and liked these the best by far. Plus, the purple color is great in my humble opinion.

Like many others have said, these skis are a master of none, jack of all trades type deal. While I do feel they excel in soft snow, (anywhere up to abt 6 inches), they really can do everything. Stiff enough to hold an edge on a fresh groomer, but the shape allows for you to dive into the trees and utilize the amazing agility of this ski. Would recommend to anyone looking for a solid daily driver in a place that gets a fair amount of snow.

I was all set on this ski but that color.....hurts my eyes. Great ski otherwise. Make this a "Special Edition" and bring back the previous top sheet.
