Pretty Much Disposable Luggage—Horrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a huge disappointment. We packed and repacked this duffle WITH packing cubes, but the wheels are simply not “present” enough to balance or stabilize movement. We drove to our destination, and flew back, and after the SINGLE flight, the bag was torn and shredded. We now can’t use it again. An incredible waste of money, energy and time. Never again!!

Great bag for non-airline use.

I had a 110 L cargo hauler for about a dozen uses of various modes of travel (airline, car, boat), which worked well as a duffle, non-airline use. There are three issues with the base design at the wheels. 1) The bag handle is short for a 5' 9" person, 2) the two-wheel roller becomes unstable when pulled straight or over small bumps (tips over), and 3) the bag became damaged at the base due to airline excessive handling (see image). I would not recommend this bag for rolling due to instability and excess wear.

Does it all!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag has the space for cold weather fishing gear for two weeks. Handles everywhere to move it. I love the weather proof construction and materials and the looks, but most of all the backpack straps. Hands free or I can wheel it around. I love it so much, we have his and her’s cargo haulers.

Not user friendly

Although this is more than adequate to hold a ton of gear, it is extremely difficult to manage. It has two wheels but it almost always ends up flipping over as you pull it. As a short woman, my arms aren’t long enough to get adequate space between my legs and the bag, so I am constantly hitting the bag with my foot. It does not travel well over gravel, cobblestone, or any uneven surfaces. And even on a hard surface it will still flip over on you. It was extremely challenging for me to handle this bag. I would not recommend it for any travel. It may work as a bag to take camping but using it in lieu of a spinner suitcase it is a non starter.

Ordering my second bag, it's truly the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As someone who travels frequently, this is my all time favorite bag! It has been around the world with me. While there are caveats as others have mentioned (can be tough to pull, scuffs up easily), the benefits far outweigh those. It rolls up extremely well for storage, it fits SO much stuff, and if you need to pick it up it has so many handles and straps to grab on to. My first bag has lasted me 2.5 years of full-time travel, the only reason I'm ordering a new one is because it's starting to look like it's been through a lot! I would recommend this bag to anyone that needs a bag that stores well, and travels frequently.

Light, holds everything, but too short to roll easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the weight and flexibility. It holds a TON. And the packing case makes a good packing cube. We will see how the fabric holds up over time. It feels strong and stretches nicely, but seems like it could tear if nicked in transit. The one challenge is that without an extending handle it’s only comfortable to roll if you are 5’-5’6”. Any talked and you have to hunch over. A longer handle that strapped down or stowed away during transit could fix this. If you’re taller than 5’6”, get the CARGO HAULER XT WHEELED DUFFEL. It’s heavier and doesn’t roll up, but sturdier and the extending handle is great. We will be getting more of those in the future for airline travel.

Needs a frame.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids and I have one each, but it is hard to maneuver without a frame. I like the backpack feature. I wanted something that we could use for camping, air and road trip travel, but we have had several safety issues happen because the bag was caught on something and was difficult to roll. I like that it is compact for storage but I would rather have a frame for mobility and we can lay them flat for storage. My son is 16 5'7""and growing but the handle for rolling is too short for him and he has a terrible time maneuvering it. It also will not attach another bag very well without the frame. I try to attach my backpack or an extra bag to it but it falls off and I have to adjust it all the time.

The luggage is very attractive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The luggage is very attractive but it didn’t hold up. After my second bike trip it developed a hole. I have owned this now for about 3 months. How could it tear so quickly? I don’t recommend it. Luggage should last more than 3 months and two trips. Very disappointed.

Fabric tore after just one use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bag because it was recommended for durability. After just one use, the fabric part of the bag ripped. The bag was not even close to being full, so that was not a factor.

Classy deployment bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Spacious, can drag around with the wheels easily. Looks stylish too. Using this bag as a deployment bag and it’s served its purpose well!
