I was so excited to get this new lightweight backpack. But unfortunately the shape of internal frame was too long to my torso length. The top of the frame comes right behind of back of my head when I adjust the hip belt and shoulder harness to the perfect position. Honestly, the idea of using exact the same size frame for “petite women to tall men” is impossible. It is good for minimizing the cost but resulting poor quality. I wish it were made with thoughtfulness and care for the users.
I am a single mom with a 6 year old daughter. I needed a versatile backpack for traveling, hiking, pool putting, attending events with my daughter. I don’t like over complicated packs with small pockets and I have been looking for a pack with large outside pockets to easily store extra layers of clothing, water bottles, sunscreen, cell phones, snacks etc. So far this pack has been perfect. I love the black design, I think it makes it more versatile and gives a neutral looking - it looks sleek compared to other hiking backpacks that are usually colorful in design. This pack works for my own aesthetic. I love how open the top is on the main compartment and how you can cinch it shut. It’s also comfortable and lightweight. I love that you can remove the side pocket belt. I’ll probably only use the belt when I’m hiking or if I need the extra storage while traveling. The material cleans off easily too which is great.
Have about 100 miles on this bag so far and it has been great! It works wonderfully for 1-2 night trips and hasn’t caused nearly as much discomfort as other bags. Getting it fitted in store was greatly helpful to me as well.
