I have a pretty teal swim skirt that I have used for kayaking, sunbathing and swimming for too many years to count. I bought a couple new swimsuits this year and wanted to find additional skirts to match. I could still read the label on my teal skirt (skirt still looks as good as it did the day I bought it despite excessive use) and saw the name Carve. I thought, it’s been so long, no way will I find more of these, but I ran a search on Carve and was floored to find the Rowan skirt which is almost identical in style, maybe a bit shorter than my teal one. I bought it in black and stargazer. Love them both!
Love this skirt!
I rarely write reviews but I have to say, this skirt is perfect in every way. Quality fabric and workmanship and washes beautifully. The very best part is how comfortable it is. I feel like I am wearing nothing! I have severe sensory issues and have a difficult time with clothing that binds, pulls or has scratchy fabric. For me to say a clothing item is comfortable is remarkable! For reference, I am 5'6" 148lbs and I purchased size large.
Great skirt for over a swimsuit
I love the length of the Rowan Fern skirt. It hits just about above my knee (with it pulled up to my waist). I can pull it down to my hips, too. It will work well over a swimsuit. The material isn’t right to wear over underwear. It would even work to wear in a kayak or on SUP. I love the green. The fabric is water-resistant and feels like a swimsuit skirt.
Best beach coverup!
I've been looking for a skirt like this for years! Best beach coverup. Can make shorter by folding waist. I love these at the beach - take off to swim - then right back on with a wet suit. I bought the royal blue and loved it - now have purchased the Fuchsia as well. I'm 5'9" 150lb and Medium is perfect. Runs true to size.

I have several of these skirts and they are the best! They’re lightweight, super comfortable and still look great. I was happy to add black to my collection.

Made for the pool
I really like the fabric, design, and ease of the skirt. The fabric is thin though, probably will only use it around rhe beach and pool.
