A Lightweight Looker

This was my first Benchmade purchase, and it most likely won’t be the last. The REI 20% off coupon made the price point a bit more palatable—I'm not sure I would have gone $190. The Mini Bugout disappears in a pocket whether clipped or dropped in, and it’s a simple thumb flick to open. The Sage Green colorway adds a touch of style to the Mini Bugout. It's a refreshing departure from the standard black or silver options often seen in the market. The subdued green hue seamlessly integrates into natural environments, making it an ideal companion for hiking, camping, or everyday carry and keeps the knife’s appearance far from “threatening.” The Crushed Silver Cerakote blade finish only adds to the sophisticated look. Being a lefty, I like the ambidextrous nature of hte axis lock and the ability to move the clip to the other side. Overall, great little every day carry blade that is well-suited to most of the light tasks that most of us will put a blade through.

Bug out for the win

Love these little bench made knives. Perfect for the everyday dad. Small and super sharp. I like a plain edge so it is easy to sharpen.

Buyer Beware!!!

This knife is just a basic mini bugout that is priced incorrectly. REI refuses acknowledge this. Just take a look for yourself it’s all the same materials.

Somehow, even better then i expected.

Ive earmarked this knife for years now, mainly given its price point. Its just hard (for me) to justify a $200 edc. I finally pulled the trigger, and have zero regrets. First, its light as a feather, and thats hardly an exaggeration. Second, i decided on the mini, and am happy with the size, but given the exact same price as the regular, it wasnt as easy of a decision as you would think. And finally its just a beautifully engineered knife, the balance, the open, the locking mechanism… its all seamless. 10/10
