Ok folks, Keen has done it!! They have taken our two favorite shoes and made the next generation gold star winner! From a comfort standpoint combine the Uneek sandal & the classic leather Newport and BAM!! You've got the new Uneek NXIS!! THEY ARE AWESOME!! I quickly bought all 3 colors for fear they would sell out! If you are on the fence on this one hop down and grab your wallet! I recommend ordering a half size up but that just me. Great job Keen! I love these shoes!!! Now, just get busy and make some cool summer colors!!! (P.S. this is NOT a paid review!!)
Runs big but otherwise perfect
I normally wear a 9.5 but the 9 in this model fit my foot to perfection. Spacious fit with no squishing of the toes or instep, but still a very secure fit - no heel slippage! Even tho it's been rainy as all heck in the PNW, I can't help but wear these on the daily and the NXIS bottom has amazing traction on both paved surfaces and gravel. Plus, the UNEEK lacing on the side still let's me show off my fun socks :)
Hurt my toe
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I am leaving 5 stars even though this shoe did not work for me. The lacing at the front of the shoe rubbed on my little toes causing blisters. Overall the shoe looked great and appeared to be a high quality product. Returning the shoe was super easy no questions asked. This was to replace my last pair of Keen sandals that lasted ten years of hard abusive duty. I live in the Southwest and am a avid hiker and camper. These stood up to the harsh desert environment and rocky mountain trails. I have ordered another model which looks closer to the hiking sandals that I have completely worn out. The sandals can still be worn but the soles have become so thin that walking on rocks is not comfortable. So now they will be beach shoes. Great products and when considering how long they last they are very cost friendly. Keen please don't change your high quality materials and construction. I am a life long customer.
My New Summer Shoe
I love the NXIS Speed sneaker and the Uneek NXIS is no different! Great shoe for the summer! Gives me the support I need while offering the flexibility of a sandal! Definitely recommend!
Amazingly comfortable

Great and comfortable shoes. The shoe size guide they provide is very accurate for these shoes. You will want a half size down from your normal tennis shoe size.
Great concept, poorly executed.
While I liked the concept of using recycled plastic for the upper's webbing I found it VERY stiff and uncomfortable as it dug into my instep so I returned them.
Great shoe
I wear them every where. I’ve been wearing Uneek’s for a decade. The NXIS does a great job of keeping small rocks and gravel from getting in. Highly recommend.
Good shoes
I like the shoes. The do seem more narrow than other Keen shoes I’ve had in the past. I’m hoping they will stretch out over time.
The Best UNEEK Yet
This is probably my ninth pair of UNEEKs. And it’s the best to date. Truly a multi-purpose shoe/sandal. And the best of both.
