You know a sleeping pad is awesome when is gets a hole on the first trip and you still give it 5-stars… This thing is so comfortable and lives up to all the reviews and hype. The hole was all my fault for not clearing the site better and my pad just happened to be sitting on the random, largest thorn branch I’ve ever seen. Fortunately the included stick-on patches were the perfect fit and it pumped back up, held through the night, and slept like a cloud all night. I was in a 30° bag and it got down to 30° and I was warm and comfortable all night. Can’t wait to see how this thing does on snow next winter!
Pros: Light, VERY easy to inflate, comfortable when inflated, kept me super warm. I'm a side sleeper, and this was perfect for me. Right out of the box, I took it to the Scout's Philmont Ranch for a 12-day trek. Nighttime temps ranged from 70s to 30s at altitude (Fahrenheit). Paired the pad with a down quilt and was never cold. Set-up and pack-down are easy. Cons: My tent mate complained about the crinkling noise whenever I rolled over (until he deployed ear plugs!). And the pad developed pinhole leaks by day 7 of our trek. Found & patched three of them on day 8, but there's another one that I haven't been able to find. Finished the trek by reinflating once each night. This makes me sad, because this was a great pad when it stays inflated.
good sleeping mat. pretty easy to inflate - the included inflation assist bag is intuitive and works well. very comfy and cushy and supports my whole body, no soreness in the morning. i have heard the horror stories of this product's flimsiness, but i haven't had any trouble so far after a few months of use, and nemo's warranty is great to boot. i do wish it came with a compression sack instead of a little cinch bag i have to stuff it into. it's not a huge pain, but it's probably the toughest thing to pack out of all my gear.
As a motorcycle camper, and I'm no camping expert mind you, this sleeping pad is comfortable and packs small and light. I've taken it on 2-3 trips and haven't had any issues. It pairs up really well with my Zenbivy core bed, this combination really temps me to sleep in it for a night when at home. A friend of mine once told me "Buy once, cry once". Well this sleeping pad was substantially more comfortable than his bargain Amazon sleeping pad, so he bought a Nemo sleeping pad after feeling mine!
Crazy comfortable, easy to inflate and pack, super light and compact. I love this thing. Took it on a 5-day trek in Nizke Tatry NP in Slovakia and didn't have any problem. Stayed diligent about anything hard like little rocks under my tent ans made sure to clear them out.
Bought a Long wide pad and it had a pinhole leak while trekking the W trek in Patagonia.
Thank you for leaving a review! Very sorry to hear that your pad developed a leak! Each pad comes with a patching kit in the stuff sack's internal pocket. Happy to see a customer service guide has already been advising on this repair.
3 inch of comfort at night and 1pound of comfort for your pack …. I recommend it 👍
230 pounds and 6 feet tall, fits me just fine. Would recommend to others.
