bad quality control?
product footbed contains extraneous nubs of material that was not removed, making the sandal very uncomfortable--a pity since the fit was great. Also, the footbeds in my pair differed significantly in color. I have also posted on the Keen website about this problem. This was the second pair I had ordered (first was not from REI) and the sharp nubs were present in both orders.
Walkers
Was not the support I needed, straps not very comfortable.
Velcro improvement needed
This shoe is comfortable and I will definitely continue to wear it. My one complaint is that the velcro is applied with the grabby/scratchy side facing out, so it catches on my clothes. If future versions just turned the velcro around to soft side facing out, this would be a 5 star product. I have wide toe, high arches, and a bunion and am pretty picky as a result.
They're okay
I have been looking for some good walking sandals to wear in the summer, since athletic shoes and socks make my feet uncomfortably hot. These are not them - they are great on cushioning but not so good on support. I'll keep them because they're good for everyday wear, but not for long walks.
Comfy sandal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had my Elle sport sandal for a couple weeks now and really like it. They feels soft like walking shoes but cool like sandals. The straps are very adjustable to fit my feet which have had a couple surgeries. There is good arch support and it’s very pretty. Very pleased.
Had to return
I have several pair of the Astoria Weat open toe and LOVE them. I have flat feet and they support me without feeling like I’m walking in a pencil. I was told these were the same footbed. NOT! They hurt me in the arch so I had to return.
I own a number of
I own a number of keen shoes...and I love them, but this sandal needs a longer Velcro strip across the toe strap. My toes are too tight and I can't loosen them as much as I'd like. I am sad!
Theyare ok
The back strap doesn’t really work for a narrow heel. You just can’t tighten it enough. Not a fan of the bumpy sole, but it isn’t terrible. On the good side, they are very light

Keen shoes seem to be the only shoe I can order and be completely satisfied. This is my first time to order this particular style and I love it!
Great supportive footbed on these
Great supportive footbed on these sandals. I wear mine, even in winter with socks, indoors. . So comfortable! My mom loves hers too!
