Velcro is too short/loose ankle strap
Bought these from the REI outlet section in San Luis Obispo. I came in half an hour before closing time and they were the only ones on the clearance rack in a size and width that worked for me (8). But after working and walking around a full day in them, I noticed how small the velcro portion of the back/ankle strap was, and developed a small rash near my insole from how i had to adjust my step to walk with slightly loose ankle straps. If the velcro section was 1.5" longer they'd be great sandals. They werent cheap, i spent $109. I cant return them, but if i sew in another velcro strap theyd be perfect.
Cork foot pad creases at ball of foot
These are well made with good construction but the cork foot pad crinkles uncomfortably at the ball of the foot. I returned these because that would have bothered my feeling the crease but also concerned me that the cork may degrade faster than the rest of the show at the crease.
Good mix of comfort and style.
These fit perfectly for my foot which is wide in front. Might be loose on a narrow foot. They were comfortable out of the box, and the slight platform isn’t too extreme for safety while running around. I’d say typical Keen! Great! Will have to wait to see if durability is as good as hiking shoes…
Not as nice as expected
In general I like these sandals however look wider than they appear in photos. You can also feel the strap rubbing against the sole of your foot while walking - doesn’t hurt, just an odd feeling to get used to.
Super comfy and look great
I love these! Bought them for a conference and out of all the shoes I packed they were the only ones that I wanted to put on. Super comfy and look good dressed up or down.
