Disappointed

Extremely disappointed in these. Was very excited to get them since I’ve always had good luck with Brooks. Less than 10 uses and already a huge hole.

A very comfortable and practical running sock!

I have been running in these for a few years and needed some new ones. I will admit I was skeptical when I received the new ones—these are no longer anatomically sided for right and left (despite some discrepancy on the website and packaging). Customer Service assured me that they were redesigned and no longer needed the R/L designation. They are definitely more cushiony than my older Glycerine socks (even new). I am not a hardcore runner but these were very comfortable for an 8-mile run. As an added bonus, laundry day is now easier since I do not have to pair up the R and L sides. I ordered a few additional pairs and would recommend these to anyone who is a moderate casual runner. I cannot give any feedback as to how these perform after say 13 miles.

Spectacular

When dressed for the job, personal appearance and dress immediately impress. Distinctive, perhaps distinguished. Responds to setbacks or adversity with redoubled vigor and enthusiasm. Will never accept that defeat is a foregone conclusion, and inspires others to stay positive and fight on. G has a powerful physique, suited for heavyweight jobs, or situations when it’s an advantage to appear strong. Always assured and confident in demeanor and presentation of ideas without being aggressively over-confident.

Pretty awful socks

Pretty awful socks. They have cushion but they are made of the cheap polyester that rubs harshly on your heel and shoe. Also picks up absolutely all dirt, hair, fur, carpet shag. After 2 uses these look older than a lot of other socks. I won't be buying Brooks socks again. Second attempt, the first were lightweight socks that had absolutely no support and fit tight. Then this. Pointless, waste of money.

I won a gold metal, 80-85 age bracket in my first race with the GUC shoes!!! I would like to try a more narrow size. Perhaps even a woman's size if a woman's size 9 1/2 would fit my size 8 1/2 feet? This time once I find the right fit, I am going to buy several pair and stash them away, as they are great training shoes as well as racing shoes. The extra cushion is perfect for me.

Size large was too small for my men's US 11.5 foot

Seem to be well made, and there is just the right amount of cushion under foot. I ordered these online and used the sizing guide to choose size L for a US men's shoe size 9 - 11.5. My Brooks shoe size is US 11.5. There is NOT a lot of elasticity in this sock, and it was uncomfortably small. My wife now wears these size L socks and they fit her US Womens size 8 foot fine.

Comfortable Shoe, Needs More Options

Brooks running shoes are the most comfortable shoes. However, they have limited styles for my 4E feet. Even my fat feet like to look stylish! Also, I often wear a hole where my big toe is after a few months. I do not have this problem with other shoes or Brooks shoes with a non-mesh top. I just wear Brooks for running and another brand for style.
